The most prominent and often popular stores at the mall are Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Macy’s. Many stores spotlight well-known and well-loved designers such as Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and more. The most prominent architectural features of the mall include a glazed barrel vault lining the crux of the mall, various skylights, and hanging chandeliers.

A skating rink known as “Polar Ice” is another popular hangout at the mall, located beneath the glass atrium for heightened visibility. The jogging track on the roof circling the atrium has a spectacular view of this rink, allowing those to enjoy it as a spectator from above.

There are about fifty dining selections with all kinds of prices and services throughout the mall. The two hotels in its complex are the 400-room Westin Houston Hotel and the 500-room Westin Galleria Hotel, which are both managed by Westin Hotels, a completely separate entity to the management of the mall.

The main office tower of the mall, Galleria Financial Centre, is occupied by prestigious financial institutions such as Citigroup, Merrill Lynch, and UBS AG, along with law offices, financial service companies, and energy trading companies. The remaining two office towers are Post Oak Tower and Galleria Tower.
