Wonderful home and location!
Trinidad was the perfect mix of beach, city and relaxing in Cuba. We loved every minute at Hostal Puerto Casilda. George gave a wonderful walking tour of the city. The entire family was above and beyond accommodating with food, drinks, and taxi rides to town and beach for the day! Would highly recommend staying at their large comfortable home. The pool was the cherry on top during our hot May visit!

Our stay at Casa Los Rubios was a delight! Alberto and Sonia were very attentive. They helped us to organise a hiking trip, rent bikes and arrange our onward accomodation in Playa Largo. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from our room and enjoyed a well stocked fridge of beer!

Very cool and available person Ana tries to help everytime. She has a nice house, clean and at 3km from the Center of Trinidad (I was using a moto taxi to drop me). Nice Terrace to drink a beer at the end of the Day with a perfect sunset view.

The hosts, Ana and her son Jorge, were very helpful and informative. The breakfasts were large and tasty and the beds and rooms were comfortable and clean. We enjoyed having beers on the various terraces. Bear in mind that although there are a handful of local restaurants within walking distance, a larger choice is available in Trinidad which is a taxi ride away. The beaches are also accessible by taxi. Ana & Jorge are able to book taxis and arrange tours.

We stayed for 14 nights over Christmas and new year, and we had a lovely stay with Anna the casa owner, she and her family made us feel very welcome and we’re very helpful with advise on getting around Trinidad and the beach area, the hostel is very clean good breakfasts and food, and what’s more it looks stunning, perfectly situated between Trinidad town and player ancon I would highly recommend this lovely and friendly hostel. Ana was a wonderful host and helpful in every way. She offers various options for breakfast and it was excellent. Just as an info: The casa is located in Casilda not Trinidad, but the Taxi was quiet cheap with 5 EUR/675 CUP per way. She helps organizing all the local trips. Overall just great.

The casa is beautifully decorated with a living tree and many growing plants in the entry way. We had two rooms. The rooms are spacious, well decorated with lovely furnishings and en suite bathrooms. There is a roof top terrace for evenings as well as a small swimming pool in the casa. Ana the host, helped us with anything we needed and made delicious breakfasts. Casa Hostel Puerto Casilda is a 5 star holiday rental. Highly recommended!

lovely little house between Trinidad and Playa Ancon. Taxis readily available for the short journey to either. A short walk to a tremendous restaurant The tours run from the house (by the son who spoke excellent English) were fascinating and informative over the history and politics (including current) of Cuba. restaurants recommended in Trinidad were lovely and we wished we had more time to eat at them again. And of course the music! Overall a tremendous stay.
