Lovely stay, very friendly family who made us feel very welcome. The location is super right in the centre of the old town and close to all the local attractions. We would definitely recommend this place to others, thank you very much for a lovely stay.

Hidden gem in citta alta
This is a fantastic place to stay. It is only 5 minutes from the funicular in the citta Alta and 2 minutes from the central square. The accomodation is very unique_ almost as if set in the walls. Breakfast of fruit, yoghurt, cheese and ham. The host was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect relaxed stay in Bergamo
Gianmauro was an excellent host. He collected us from the airport and from then on his service was perfect. Our room was beautiful and there was a rooftop garden to relax in, read, drink wine or whatever. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to Bergamo. There is no finer recommendation than that.

Short break
The room was much more than we were expecting, spacious, with a small kitchen area with kettle. Bed was comfy, and nice seatimg area. The shower room had a few stairs down to it, was well lit and very clean. The host was excellent, he allowed us to stay past check out time, due to a late flight. Breakfast was nice.

Fantastic week in Citte Alta Bergamo
We had a varied breakfast every morning. We were picked up at the Airport. We arrived late so were grateful. Mauro was vey helpful and pleasant. He suggested a room change because of Eileen’s disability which worked well. He is a wine buff so we had a couple of excellent wines in our fridge. We then move onto French wine from the Carrefour as it is difficult to source in Greece. I would highly recommend the Apartment for location too.

Very nice host and perfect location for a stay in Bergamo. But bring your slippers in the winter time - cold floors as tiles will be. Breakfast is OK but was missing a good cappuccino! Overall a very nice stay and I would highly recommend it.

Perfect accommodation in great location
Just stayed at Casa Mario Lupo for 4 nights. This is a wonderfull property perfectly situated in the centre of the old town. The room was amazing and very clean - temperatures during the day were over 30oC but the room was always cool. The owner, Gianmoura, was very friendly and helpful. There is a nice garden terrace to relax in during the day - despite being in the centre of Citta Alta it was really quiet and peaceful. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Location location location
Ditching our teenagers for the weekend, this was an imperfect Pied a terre for Milano, but in itself a wonderful quiet but central location. Nicely equipped, but be sure to ask Mauricio to turn up the heat. We froze all night in a weekend in May. The daytime temps in Milano were warm, but by the time we got back to Bergamo, it was unpleasantly cool without a jacket. About a twenty minute bus ride from the airport, a 2 euro ride. 5 euros to Milan, but be sure to catch the Trenitalia at 5 minutes after the hour to get the shortest ride, straight into the central train station.

Highlight of our trip
We spent about two weeks travelling through Northern Italy and this place was the best stay of the whole trip. The room itself was spacious, the bed was really comfortable, the bathroom/shower was really nice and the location was perfect (be prepared for the crazy loud church bells at 7:30 AM every morning though, but you will hear those everywhere you stay in the old town). However, one cannot review this place without giving a special mention to the owner. Kind and extremely helpful, he will be the highlight of your stay. Make sure to buy some things at his adjacent shop; everything we tried was delicious. I highly recommed the walnut cream, it's spectacular.
