Beautiful Interior
Beautiful lobby and lovely decor in the rooms. We didn't have a view (there was another building a few feet away) but it didn't really matter. Great bathroom thoughtfully stocked and great shower (no tub). Nice buffet at breakfast, and the cookies we bought at the bar were tasty, too. Convenient location to shops and restaurants, although I might stay on the other side of the river if I were to come back.

A top quality hotel well situated in the heart of Kyoto and gives an authentic Japanese experience. Very well located to get around Kyoto and its many attractions. The staff were very freidnly and helpful. The only slight negative was the breakfast which was on the pricey side for standard fayre when there are better places to eat in the locality. A very contemporary property with good amenities and comfortable rooms with well equipped bathrooms. Stylish and well maintained. Located just outside the main Kyoto shopping streets, and nearby metro and bus routes. Buffet breakfast offers excellent Western and Japanese alternatives. Only criticisms are that the rooms don't have desks and the gym is very small.
