Hotel was in a very convenient location close to shops, restaurants.
The hotel breakfast area is horrible, it just sits in the reception serving very limited options and lack of any privacy. Furthermore, there is no dedicated restaurant staff to handle food preparation but rather handled by the same cleaning crew that clean the rooms for the hotel.
I particularly noticed that the hotel staff are not very empathetic at handling special needs of customers but rather are trying to understand why you have special needs and to them, it seems odd in their minds and instead of trying to help you they're trying to puzzle you out. What I mean by this is, is that if I request for additional towels the hotel staff are generally questioning you as to why you need extra towels etc...
We arrived quite late and spent many hours trying to configure the room to our specifications which was very badly designed we were given a very bad room on the first floor next to the lift being room 101. This room was badly configured, exceptionally small and I later found out that the other Standard double rooms have much better configurations. I would also like to say that the owner "Jean" Is very rude and condescending and he spoke to us in a very belligerent manner that we must not ask for extra towels as we went down to the storeroom to take some ourselves as no one was there to help. The asst. manager "Alesandara" It's not very pleasant either and threatened to contact Expedia. Julia is very nice.
