Hotel was in the perfect location. Everything was clean and seemed recently remodeled. The best was eating at their rooftop restaraunt! The view was amazing. Skip the breakfast and go to a local place steps outside of the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel was a bit pricy.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and truly loved our stay. The staff are very welcoming and the room was excellent. Location is perfect as you are 15min walk from the train station and surrounded by amazing local restaurants, wine bars, & shopping. FYI…There are 2 hotel locations depending on the room selection you make. We chose Classic which was in the location of the rooftop patio bar (we believe Superior places you in the other location with the restaurant). Either way we did not eat here as there are so many amazing restaurants and places to go within 1-20min walk…just pick anything and you will have a great meal in Florence.

Wonderful property. We stayed on the West Calimala. Hotel is very nice, the rooftop is awesome but the main thing is the staff. Everyone goes out of their way to ensure you have a wow stay & with a smile. The location cannot be beat. Saving this one for my next visit!

Calimala is in the middle of the best part of Florence for dining, shopping and sightseeing. Was the perfect location. Hotel is very nice and clean, staff is unbelievably friendly. Only downside is that being centrally located means you do hear some street noise. But would still highly recommend.
