I have stayed at this Inn before. The bed was comfortable. The towels are soft. I never ran out of hot water. The place definitely has some wear and tear but good enough for a repeat visit. It is very centrally located for all of the places I was traveling to during my stay.

A hidden gem in a convenient location
Ocean Star Inn is a hidden gem! It was a very comfortable stay for us in many ways. Very good breakfast, and they had surprisingly Almond Milk!!! Lactose-intolerant person like me would appreciate it very much!!! Also the the Oiko’s Triple Zero yogurt was very good!

Refurbished better than new
26 years ago I first stayed here when it was a Econo Lodge and fairly new. Now I stayed again for three nights and with the remodel it’s much better. It was clean, bed was comfortable, shower tub had a grab bar and the room had a Keurig coffee maker, micro wave and fridge. There was even enough new plugs to accommodate phones etc. the breakfast was better and had more choices then a usual continental breakfast. The staff for checkin was friendly and quick. They even helped me figure out the tv remotes. Check out was a breeze and I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The people who run this hotel coukdn't be nicer. Immaculate, spacious room with a work desk, dining table, nice queen bed with good pillows, ,sofa, fridge and microwave, pet friendly, better free breakfast than other hotels that cost more than twice as much.
