We showed up at 3 to check-in (the time noted to do so) and were told that rooms werent ready because they were "fully booked the night before". Check out time is 11 and there was still a pretty full parking lot... so i dont imagine all rooms had to be cleaned... but we were told to come back in "like an hour...actually closer to two". This after being in a car most of the morning and having finished a campus tour. We just wanted to unload and freshen up before dinner. Really frustrated and disappointed with that. Come to the room hours later, its okay, pretty much what you expect for an "express" hotel. Only bothersome things were the outlet by the one side of the bed was busted so you couldnt use it, the door let in SO much light as it wasnt properly installed and the bathroom wasnt very clean. During breakfast the lady handling everything was quite rude to the guests. One gentlemen was holding the tray lid up for his wife and she snapped at him that he didnt have to hold it, it would hold its self.. but at a very low level, making it harder to get the eggs out. She was just snappy and rude to everyone, trying to refill stiff while guests were using something, snapping at them to "please move". I didnt expect a 5 star experience, but we definitely will chose elsewhere next time as we do plan on revisting the area a lot.
