    Amazing staff and stay

    Fantastic customer service and food. I would like to shout out about the lovely Palmy who worked in the exec lounge. When I arrived I was very stressed as I had left my iPad on the flight in Bangkok. Palmy immediately took control to call Thai airways lost property and organised for me to pick it up when I returned to the airport. This went beyond what I could of expected and I was able to relax for the rest of my stay.

    Revolting

    I booked via @hotels.com for 6 days in a deluxe room. The room was old, dated and differed from the one advertised. check in took an entire hour ! (for which I received a coupon). I refused to stay in the room shown, but as I had booked with @hotels.com the hotel told me to cancel via them, who advised me that I could cancel the night of my arrival day plus the following night , but not the last four days of my booking. An incomprehensible cancellation policy, but despite the hotel agreeing to me cancelling, I had therefore no alternative then to stay. The hotel gave me another equally bad room. The hotel has spent a budget upgrading the reception, and the elevators, (blackout with huge screens playing video clips) all in huge contrast to the deluxe rooms. The next day I was woken up by building work (they are upgrading the disgusting rooms). Also on several occasions there was no hot water, for which the hotel apologised, I also have voice clips of the building work, but, in an email they advised me they take no responsibility for the hotel information on their webpage, it is the hotel who has to put information of building works on the hotel.com website. My conclusion: The hotel has poor cleaning standards, one day they forgot to clean my room, i had no clean towels., You can’t use the bath as it is disgusting, no hot water, a reception which will blank you if you highlight of what went wrong - again. I have felt so uncomfortable and could not wait to go home.
