Beautiful hotel in a great area. Only problem we had was getting to the hotel during the Christmas market...we spent 2 hours in traffic trying to get there and roads were blocked getting to the hotel. We almost cancelled our stay because we couldn't get to the property...until an employee of the hotel (Johan) came to save the day. He went above and beyond!! This hotel is so lucky to find such a dedicated and helpful employee. I have never experienced such an amazing service in all my years of travel.

When we checked in, our assigned room must have been over 80F. I turned on the a.c. and waited for the room to cool, but quickly realized hot air was coming from the vent. I went to the front desk and was told, no a.c. but they could give me a fan and that I needed to turn off the "a.c." as only hot air would come out. I asked to be moved to a lower floor which I was. The reception staff was very helpful. There was another gentleman at the desk, also complaining about his hot room, so I know my situation was not unique. When one pays hundreds of dollars/Euros for a room, one expects a comfortable temperature. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Excellent location. Tons of restaurants nearby.
