Lovely property inside the city walls but away from the high traffic tourist areas. Well equipped with everything you need. Easy check in. We had a lovely visit in Volterra.

The host, Francesco, was very responsive; the accommodation itself was clean although very dated; it was in a good location just inside the city walls. However, the description states that parking is available- I was sent a link to 4 separate public parking lots- 3 paid and 1 free- there was zero availability. I stated this to Francesco who adamantly told me to refer to the description stating parking is available but not a private lot- and as I previously stated, there was no parking available many times, in any of the lots. Just want others to be aware as I didn’t see this in any reviews and when I see that parking is available- whether public or private- I assume there will be a spot somewhere without having to drive around for over an hour and then walk a very good distance.

Positiv: sauber, Waschmaschine. Negativ: der Geruch, sehr dunkel, Schimmel in der Dusche. Alte und vergraute Bettwäsche, teilweise mit Flecken. Zeit-und kraftraubende Suche nach einem Parkplatz. Zusammengefasst: den Gästen muss bewusst sein, dass es sich hier um ein sehr altes Gebäude handelt und man den Geruch nach Schimmel und Feuchtigkeit in Kauf nehmen muss. Uns war das zu viel.

This is hard one. Place, location, value for money - all is amazing. Until you go to sleep. This is where it will depend on weather you prefer hard of ultra soft bed. Everything was just great until we got into bed. There was some filter/pipe smth making noise. i fixed that, i guess just pressure matter. But the bed... for us being able to sleep on hard beds only this was a
