Overnight stay
The hotel is a shadow of its former self, we were put in room 536, next to the the laundry area where the corridor was very run down, the carpets were dirty and tiles off the wall.!! The swimming pool for such a large hotel is tiny, you would be lucky to get 10 people in it!! It is ideal for getting around Manchester, but I personally wouldn't stay again

Exceptional 10.0
Amazing hotel
Amazing stay in a prime location, the spa facilities are impressive. Look forward to visiting again.

Very good 8.0
Great stay bar the check in delay!
Lovely hotel. We were aware of construction work but wasnt noisy. Only disappointment was checking in at 15.40 and rooms not ready! Also we booked 2 rooms as a family of 4 (with older children) and rooms not near each other or on the same floor. Bar staff attentive but not intrusive and rooms lovely, and immaculately clean.

Poor 2.0
The worst stay/ service I’ve ever had in a hotel. After booking our hotel we were told they were underground refurb and so no restaurants were open, you tell your guests this before booking!
Ellie, gb1 night trip
Very good 8.0
Great rate due to reception and restaurant work
The newly renovated rooms are great and very comfortable, And smart. The reception is being renovated so it looks like a building site and there is just a bar and bar food on offer, all a bit basic and not very 4 star at the moment. Breakfast is brought in from outside and left outside your door in the morning. It was ok, a bit self service but actually worked for us and we'r got a great rate for the night so no complaints.

Hotel is a building site. What have they been doing for 5 months when they were closed. Room ok but the bathroom was a disgrace
Anthony, gb1 night trip
Poor 2.0
Very poor experience
We declined to stay as the hotel was undergoing major refurbishment. Lots of noise from party makers and we gave up after 3 attempts Of trying to get into the room (the electronic key would not work each time despite being updated by reception). No customer care and so we decided to stay somewhere else. Such a shame as previous visits have been very enjoyable.

Poor 2.0
Never again
Terrible stay, booked 2 rooms, one the toilet was broken, resulted in having to move my 82 year old mother to another room at midnight despite reporting it 3 times. Second room had no seal under the shower screen, resulted in me falling and banging my hip. No air conditioning at all in the hotel, yet you are not told, tv’s not working. It was a nightmare from start to finish, the hotel has seriously gone down hill, they need to up their game as right now they are a mediocre hotel in Manchester
Denise, gb1 night family trip
Good 6.0
Have breakfast somewhere else
The room was clean and the service was good, however the breakfast was very disappointing. The hotel's kitchen is closed due to Covid and they offer a breakfast bag from Crush, which is very tasteless and definitely not worth the £11 they charge!

Major Construction in Hotel
The hotel is currently undergoing major renovation, which wasn’t stated anywhere before I made the booking. It was quite a surprise when I arrived to see the entire lobby boarded up with barriers, and only one side corner set up for check-in. The constant drilling detracted from the whole experience. Whilst the rooms were clean and modern, the construction going on in the hotel dampened the overall stay. Had I known the hotel was under construction, I probably wouldn’t have made a reservation. This should have been made clear before booking.
