Well the room is livable but the the price I should have not had to deep clean and the carpet definitely needs to be replaced I cannot get rid of the urine smell and I've tried different things I continue to stay because I am in between residence right now and tired of bouncing from hotel to hotel I am slowly trying to make it feel more homely. Overall I can live with it for now

    Poor First Impression

I showed up for check-in at 2:30. I heard the girl at the desk rudely telling the customer ahead of me that check—in isn’t until 3:00 and they would have to come back in 30 minutes. I left and came back at 3:00 to find a line of perplexed people waiting to check-in. Definitely a very poor first impression.

A Park Bench Would be Better

I was having my home remodeled so I decided to rent a room here for several days. Man, what a mistake that was. Where to begin... First off, the placed has a terrible odor which is like a cross between roadkill and urine. The room I was given was on the first floor and was right next to a stairwell, which also served as a corridor to a large pool/smoking area. The pool was empty, by the way. The security door slammed so hard when it closed that my bed would literally shake every time it closed...which was basically all night due to the smokers constantly going to and from the smoking area. During my first night, there were also people smoking/drinking in that are until about 3am, when, believe it or not, rain chased them back inside. Since I have to be up around 5am for work, this created a less than ideal situation. I asked the manager (at least I think she was the manager as she was the only person I ever saw behind the desk) to allow me to switch rooms. She said they had no rooms available so she couldn't move me, which seemed odd because hotels.com and the Extended Stay website both showed rooms available. The final straw was my 3rd night when I was awoken to dogs roaming and barking in the middle of the night. I left before my reservation was over and they refused to refund my money for the night I never stayed there. I left a message with ES corporate and they never even returned my call. If you want a decent night's rest, I'd suggest finding a park bench. F-

Jail had a better check in routine.

The stay would have been great, had it not been for check=in. I went to see a friend and decided to stay a night. On the way to lunch i stopped by the desk it was about 1230pm....she told me the rooms were still being done....i understood checkin was at 3. Returned at 236pm ask if there was availibility she said check in was 3pm even though 3 girls were there chatting and joking loudly in back I believe the Manager Lisa, Lucia and another employee. I waited 24 minutes till 3pm..they have a big monitored TV saying recording out in the front Lobby so i knew they could see me...at 302pm Lisa the Manager came back out and said she will be right back and went back in office joking and talking with an employee who was leaving on a 5 day trip. Lucia came out and said to have a seat it will be15 minutes because she had to clock in and get ready...all in all i checkin in at like 315ish. The Hotel was good but the power trip games and manipulation....what a joke ..if you are not there to rent rooms ...leave the lease/mortgage has to be paid.

    Stay at your own risk

The room was okay floors were stained the dining table was broken and a/c unit didn’t work it was hot as you can imagine with these Phoenix temps. The hallways were dirty and trash everywhere I stayed about three days and the hallways had the same trash never cleaned up. Also I stayed on the third floor they had no security cameras and I don’t think the smoke detector even worked because almost every room up stairs had smoking activity going on and some even had their room doors open with no worry.

    Refund

Did not stay at this hotel so it was canceled by the hotel. Had problem with the 3rd party form. But I guess I was charged by Hotels. Com so I want a refund of $84.41. I had to wire money to my daughter to get another hotel. I didn't know I was going to get charged by Hotels.com

    Almost

Check-in was slow & inefficient. I was ignored for a few minutes before the process started. The room was okay, but not impressive. The couch in the living room was not comfortable. Carpets in the hallways are stained an in poor repair. Biggest disappointment was that while waiting for the elevator I was told buy another guest that it hadn't been operating properly for a few days. I would have liked to have been informed by hotel staff at check in perhaps with the option to be placed on a lower floor.
