10/10 Exceptional

The room was clean and spacious. The hotel is a lovely old mansion style on the top of the hill, overlooking Westport and Clew Bay. The views from the dining room were beautiful. The pool and steam rooms were very nice. It's a 15 minute walk, down the hill, into the centre of town.

8/10 Very good

The hotel was lovely and use of the swi.ming pool/ spa was great. The grounds were very well maintained. They had a booking system for breakfast which didn't really allow you to be flexible, but I understand that they probably didn't have enough space / staff if everyone turned up at the same time (hot breakfast was cooked fresh and was delicious).

Gorgeous large room with shower and spa bath. Hotel is welcoming and even though it was busy no one was too busy to help. Breakfast was excellent hot food ordered at table. Large selection of cereals, juice and bread/pastries. Main course and drink in Breton Bar was €27 each excellent value and close to town centre about 10 min walk away.
