Ideal location for both business and sight seeing in Washington DC. Trendy lobby area plus good food. Housekeeping a bit slow but told understaffed. Overall good. Construction work outside during day but no real bother.

Nice hotel, breakfast lets it down
Nice looking hotel with very large rooms. But the breakfast really lets it down - order off the a la carte menu rather than the buffet that is included in the expensive “resort fee”. Was disappointed to find additional charges made to my card after my departure which I was never consulted about, nor sent a new receipt for. They have now been reversed.

Distinctive hotel with flair
This is not a run of the mill hotel and its distinctiveness pleased all the guests who were part of my consulting team flown in for a meeting. Terrific location next to Dupont Circle for great dining choices as well.

Everything fine, except my wake-up call request apparently was not properly entered, as I woke up an hour later than needed and had to rush out to drive to a court hearing. And there was not time for the lovely breakfast I had paid for as part of the resort fee.
