We were upgraded which was a lovely surprise. The room was huge and very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay

We booked a room saying 3 people. They had room for 2 and didnt have extra bed to provide in the executive suite. When we asked for bed they said they only had a crib for our 13 year old and said “just sleep on the floor” the room was $500 a night. Location is horrible too.

The location was easy to find and situated perfectly for visiting Muttrah (fort, souq, coastline). The service has been amazing, everybody was exceptionally friendly. We could even check in earlier! Food at breakfast, dinner and at the pool has been full of variety and always tasty. Rooms have always been clean and ours has been quite large. Furniture is a little bit outdated but that did not bother us.

The staff at the hotel were genuinely friendly and very helpful throughout our stay, which we greatly appreciated. However, we felt that the overall experience did not offer good value for the price. The property is somewhat worn down, and the breakfast was both overpriced and of rather average quality.
The outdoor pool closes quite early at 6 p.m., and while the indoor pool stays open longer, it unfortunately isn’t accessible to children. Construction was taking place by the pool area and created noise throughout the day
