Lovely couple of days spent at the Village Hotel Cheadle. Staff were so friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. Leisure facilities are excellent, bar and restaurant are really nice and generally a cool vibe!

Info for using pool & gym could be made clearer. Was asked to pay extra to use the gym. Great pool, sauna& steam room. Had to pay to park.

No brainer location if you are travelling from a distance and own an EV.. having Ionity in the car park is extremely convenient.. breakfast is nice, and swimming pool and gym are both very good. Good value for money.

6/10 Good

The hotel was very noisy due to low flying aircraft. The walls were also not soundproof and you could hear everything in hallway, adjoining rooms and music from gymnasium. Apart from that the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was tasty.

4/10 Fair

I had prepaid parking yet only just managed to get a space after circling for a while! Reception staff were helpful. Room was large and clean. Was kept awake most of the night with airplanes… didn’t realise we were right under the flight path. Booked a table in restaurant for 6pm. Very busy and no table allocated. Was told to just find one yet it was busy and uncleaned tables everywhere. Staff were clearly rushed off their feet and short staffed. Not particularly helpful with a busy bar & only 1 bar staff. Food was average but expensive for what it was. On the whole a disappointing stay. Have stayed in village hotels before and have been great. This one let the side down!

10/10 Exceptional

Our room was spotlessly clean. Nothing that anyone can do in a heatwave to keep it cool, but there was a fan and plenty of water for a cold shower. Staff were pleasant and helpful, breakfast plentiful and varied.

6/10 Good

Staff down in the gym/spa area were very friendly. With the self check in and out I didn’t have any interaction with the other staff. Room sadly wasn’t clean with hair around the sink and used products left in the shower. One pillow was wet also. Doubt I would return as the cleanliness of the room really let it down
