Staff welcoming and helpful.
Unable to check in as the system was down and had event to go to. The young woman at reception was so helpful in suggesting where i could get ready and was generally helpful during my overnight stay. All staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Bed/ sleep was good. Thought the general condition of the room was abit drab and could do with a refresh ( room 515 ).

New curtains please
The window had a slightly odd shape which meant the curtains didn't align properly, which resulted in a not so great sleep.

Could have been better.
Our 2 night stay at this hotel was average, and unfortunately, there were several aspects that let it down. The main issue we encountered was with the TV. It wasn’t working when we arrived, so we reported it to reception. Upon our return, the TV had been turned on, but the remote seemed to be the problem, as it only worked intermittently. It appeared that the previous guest had the same issue, as the TV had been switched off at the wall behind it. This made it difficult to turn the TV off at night without manually accessing the plug. The room itself wasn’t what I’d call dirty, but it definitely needed a more thorough clean in the less obvious areas. A good dusting would have made a big difference. On a more positive note, we enjoyed the bar and found the location convenient, which added to the overall experience. However, given the issues we faced and the overall quality, we didn’t feel the stay was good value for money. Sadly, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Central hotel. Dark and dusty but nice enough.
Nice one night stay. Complementary upgrade to a deluxe room which was a nice touch as the room was really spacious. Only issues was that the room was very very dark and the lights didnt make it much brighter and our room was clean but just extremely dusty. Dust floating round the room constantly and the mirror was full of dust speckles. Better than the budget hotels in the city but wouldn't pay over the odds to stay again. Great location though and the Q park was so close.

Not as goid as expected, great location
Hotel was nice but our room was not quite as good as we expected for the money being charged. The room was cold and we couldnt get the heating to wirk, vearing in mind we stay away regularly and are used to different systems. The windows were drsfty and noisy from outside, we did expexr some noise due to location. Our shower screen was also broken. On the plus side the beds were very comfortable with nice bedding abd all the accessories required.

Okay stay.
An okay stay but nothing really special about it. Room was very small and housekeeping must have been in a rush as we only had one glass, there was an empty toilet roll on the holder, and the room was Baltic when we walked in- not really what you want when it’s November and freezing already! Bed was comfy though.

Liked the decor. Thin walls, the room next to us were talking from 4am for hours and we could pretty much hear every word. Nice room, lampshades need dusting

Okay but not worth the money
The room was average. Looked quite tired. Really bad lighting so difficult to get ready to go out. Door slammed shut. Bed & pillows were comfy. Weirdly the usb plugs did not work and there was no bedside table on one side of the bed so my glasses, water and phone were on the floor. Breakfast was tasty and staff were great.

We had a great time in Manchester. The hotel was perfect. Loved the decor and the staff were all very obliging. I was offered an upgrade and it was approved so we got a bigger room which too was wonderful.

Good hotel, would stay again
Lovely hotel in a good location. Happy hour in the bar was great and they were happy to change the tv channel as requested. Our room was next to a side street and we were woken up by a bin lorry in the early hours of the morning which was not ideal - more sound proofing required.
