Stayed here for an 80th birthday, 3 sets of families met up. Check in was very easy and staff were excellent in helping us organise a surprise. The pool facilities were superb and we were made to feel very welcome. Rooms were lovely and clean and I’d recommend this hotel to anyone. Was my 5th visit and is always my first choice hen I’m in and around Leeds. Thank you

We stayed for the recent cricket Test Match; the hotel is @ 30 min walk from the ground & Headingley centre for bars & eating places. Parking & breakfast (was excellent) included in room price. Room clean & tidy, spacious, comfortable beds & large bathroom. Very quiet for a large hotel. A small fridge in the room would be nice. Staff were all very friendly. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely stay at the Village Hotel. The room was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. The hotel itself was a lovely place to stay with great facilities, including a Starbucks café and restaurant on site. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. The room looked as if it was recently refurbished, the room was good but the bathroom still looked tired due to poor workmanship. The bathroom had minor cleaning issues too where surfaces didn’t appear to have been wiped down, with hairs left on the walls. No hairdryer in the room but this was quickly rectified. The grounds which the hotel is located is good. We stayed in the South hotel the night before and this was slightly better and half the price (prices were put up due to the cricket that we didn’t realise was on). Overall the hotel was good, just not a good as other Village Hotels.

The room was very comfortable, the staff friendly and the swimming pool was the perfect temperature. We didn't use the gym. The hotel is within walking distance (or a short bus ride) from Headingly Cricket Ground (which is why we were in Leeds). We were in the bar watching the football for England v Croatia in the World Cup, but the service was still fast and there was a great atmosphere too.
