Yeah, buyer beware....improvements needed
Most of the staff are very friendly and brilliant. One dude should consider other professions because he is a sad human and it radiates outward. As for the hotel room. It was freezing because there is no real insulation and it is drafty. The window lock was broken and difficult to finally close. The location is walking distance to Centro Historico but the neighborhood is very sketchy. When even your cab driver asks you "really Miss, here" you begin to wonder. Room service and cleaning were great. The "continental" breakfast was some reall cold hard scrambled eggs, one chip, and beans or fruit. They should just invest in a better system and other options. The breakfast team is much too sweet for this disappointment from people. Finally, while stylish, the water only runs cold and the knobs don't work properly. When it did run hot, I'm convinced that I may have cooked the outer layer of my skin. Also as a note, because of the lack of insulation, you will hear everything and everyone in the hallway in the middle of the night.

2/10 Poor

Room smelled of mould, taps didn’t work, water leaked everywhere from the shower, unclear sheets and towels with holes in. We left midway through our stay to alternative accommodation.

Friendly staff and the rooms are nice but it got stuffy since there is no A/C and had to open the windows but had to worry about the mosquitoes. If you’re staying for several days in Mexico City, book somewhere else

El lugar es agradable con una atmósfera tranquila, amablemente me ayudaron abrir una botella de vino que llevé y prestaron dos copas, muy atentos. Lo único es que no salía agua de la regadera :/

2/10 Poor

Our visit started at 9 pm in pouring rain. We had to wait to be allowed past the gate and onto the premises. At the concierge desk, the attendant was focused on their phone. We asked for an upgrade for a third guest. The attendant facilitated the change begrudgingly, and we paid the difference. Our room, needed two beds because of our additional guest. We had to ask for the third bed, the conciergedidn'tthink to automatically ask. The hotel is nicely furnished and decorated. The room, though charming, had several issues. The room had the second bed in the loft. To get to the loft, guests have to climb a 10 foot ladder, which is in a hazardous vertical position (90 degree). You are unable to take things up to the loft, because you must climb the ladder at the same time. The loft ceiling was very low, approximately 4 feet high. To get around, guests have to hunch over. The night stands do not have electrical outlets for charging your phone. The bathroom is beautifully decorated, but the bathroom sink had a constant drip (better described as a constant stream). We reported the drip to the concierge, but they said staff would have to check it after our departure, two days later. This goes against their water conservation campaign and reflects poorly when the hotel is in a city with water shortages. The shower had either hot or cold water. Overall a disappointing stay.

It’s a very beautiful hotel, the murals on the wall were mesmerizing. Staff was very friendly. However: There is No AC. I reserved a room that had an advertised patio but there was no patio. Beds were very stiff. The hotel itself was very clean, but 2/4 nights I stayed, the sheets were stained, there was not toilet paper, and no floor towel. In addition, rooms were advertised as soundproof but I could hear it all: Doors opening and slam shut, people talking and laughing, kids crying.

No matter if I had a reservation I took decision do not sleep in this Hotel, the reason it was the room isn't equiped with A/C any room. The temperatur in the city is hot. They offer only a fan if you have luck because are limited. This information are no provided in the website. I recognize the hotel style is nice but I can't belive that use Boutique without A/C. I'll give another opportunity some day when they fix this importan point.
