We booked this hotel to attend a concert in Gelsenkirchen. The hotel rooms were clean and practical. The breakfast buffet includes ham, cheeses, bread, cereal, yogurt, and multiple coffee choices. The only criticism is the lack of sufficient parking at the hotel. There are other parking lots near the hotel but do not allow for parking at night. Ultimately, not having a hotel staff member to cover front desk duties after hours presents a risk, because what if a guest has an emergency and needs immediate assistance? Overall the stay was ok but it was nerve wracking finding parking at night.

This is a basic hotel which was reflected in the price when compared to others but for one night was what we needed. Convenient for access to the motorway & on to gelsenkirchen where we were heading. A few criticisms: 1 - for €12 the breakfast was basic. 2 - parking is tricky particularly for larger vehicles when the car park is nearly full. 3 - when we used the shower water flooded under the door for the shower cubicle & on to the floor of the bathroom.

The hotelier extended a very warm and friendly welcome on arrival and also stopped for a brief chat the following day. I was amazed to find he remembered me from previous stays, which were before Covid! I love this hotel's breakfast buffet. It includes healthy as well as more indulgent options to set you up nicely for the day. For any travellers arriving late: reception isn't staffed 24 hours, but they have a digital checkin machine, which allows you to get your room access number simply by entering your booking reference. Short and sweet. My favourite base for when I visit relatives in Oberhausen :-)

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt
Wir waren mit unseren beiden Teenagern in einem Familienzimmer. Das Zimmer war sauber , die Betten sehr bequem . Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir können dieses Hotel sehr empfehlen und würden es sofort wieder buchen. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist die Nähe zum Centro , zum Sealife und zum Gasometer.
