Nice well-run hotel close to the Amtrak station. Staff were very helpful. I had dinner and breakfast at the cafe and both were excellent. The staff there were also quite professional. I was generally very happy with my experience there.

Paid top dollar for a hotel that only had a gym a cheap restaurant and roc climbing… I changed hotels stayed at the peppermill for the same price it had several restaurants… pool/spa, gambling machines, multiple bars, lots of extras… I felt I was ripped off and over charged for a hotel that offered nothing like the rest of the Reno hotels do… I would compare it to a more 6 with a ihop next to it

I’ve stayed at WP four times in the past few years. The rooms are always clean, linens, fresh, hallways and elevators clean. This is a dog-friendly hotel, but you don’t remember that until you see a dog. That’s just how clean this hotel is. The only negative is that there are no microwaves in the rooms. You would have to use the one in the lobby. This hotel is a few steps from the Row (El Dorado-Silver Legacy-Circus Circus) and a block from Cal-Neva so it’s in a convenient location.

Clean room, friendly staff, excellent location, delicious food at the restaurant! Could hear through the adjoining door to the next room and smell their weed which is why I’m not giving it a full 6 stars.

Very nice staff. Great location. No casino is a big plus. Clean rooms. The only issue is loud heater, so we turned it off at night. Across the street parking garage

I’ve been wanting to stay at this location for a while and I have to say it was a super pleasant experience. Polite door men, welcoming front desk, and clean venue. Check in was simple and this location is central which was perfect!
Entering our room we thought it was very clean and spacious and decor was modern simple and perfect! We had a great view of Eldorado an even loved that our room was right next to the water station and ice machine. Felt like we had a quick and easy fridge and o quench our thirst. Room had a real cute Magic Chef fridge that I am now inspired to buy. I had too great of a time that I didn’t have a chance hit up bouldering which is amazingly priced for hotel guest. Will definitely stay hear again and take advantage of climbing next time :)
