I enjoyed my time at Tivoli, the staff are very kind, the breakfast was very good, and the hotel was always in a clean condition. The sky bar was also very pleasant.
However, I must say that we booked a superior room with riverside view ( according to photos on Expedia these rooms had a balcony with french doors and when we got there the room had only a small, half-sized window that couldn't even be opened to the exterior). I asked the reception about it and was told that we got what we booked.
On average, we spent 25€-30€ per Uber ride to beaches (Sesimbra, Costa da Caparica, Portinho da Arrabida), and under 8€ to Central Lisbon. We used taxis only on the first 2 rides and were charged 25€ from the airport to the hotel (10 min/3km ride) and 70€ from the hotel to praia Fonte da Telha (33km - the driver went on an unnecessarily long route).
The indoor pool and jacuzzi are ok, it's a shame they close by 10pm. In that zone of the building, there's an outdoor area with stretchers, sofas and tables where you can vape/smoke. Unfortunately we didn't see the sun reaching the stretchers area. Here the view was to the railway lines.
