    Very good hotel.
    Very good hotel. Great location to BCN centre and port. Also very easy access to get on road to get out of city. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Room comfortable and clean. I would happily stay again and recommend this hotel to anyone.

    You may save time but you won't save money.....
    This expensive hotel can be very convenient if you are waiting to board a cruise. We were extra-lucky - our ship tied up alongside the hotel. The breakfast buffet was very pricey so we avoided it and brought some food with us!!

    Passing thru Barcelona
    Sometimes big hotels can be impersonal and sterile but the good ones work hard to make you feel at least that you’re welcome and your business is valued, not so the Grand Marina! I’ve stayed at the hotel before, it’s in a good location, is well equipped with large comfortable rooms but never saw a smile from a single member of staff in the whole stay. Reception staff we unwelcoming and uninformative. Bar staff unhelpful and unhappy. I don’t mind paying 15Euro for a G&T (Although 23Euro for Breakfast was pushing it) but for heavens sake smile when you take the money! When we checked out there was a queue of at least 20 people trying to do the same thing, with two members of staff (this might explain why they weren’t smiling).
