Both rooms were nice and clean and well maintained, corridors and other communal areas were well appointed and clea. The bar was well stocked and the pool and spa were excellent. The staff were very helpful, but special mention goes to Lauren on reception who went above and beyond.

Booked overnight stay for Duran Duran gig at The Hydro. Opted for apartment room for 3 as same price as standard family room. Excellent service on arrival and apartment was clean, comfortable and quiet. Didn't eat at hotel, but leisure facilities were great. Only slight issue was refrigerator in apartment was located in a small cupboard and heat generated in the small space meant fridge wasn't cold and cupboard was very warm! Minor quibble. Highly recommend staying at the Glasgow Argyll SW!

Lovely boutique experience, with spacious room. Close to the river walk. Pool and spa were great. However, since it is open to membership, it closes early and is very crowded late afternoon with classes.

Hotel was very clean, good location. Half the pool was taken up for swimming lessons. 4 staff were in and around hot tub which hindered paying patrons from using. Bar closed at 9:30.

As an American familiar with the Best Western brand, I was pleasantly surprised by the upscale nature of the property. Overall, it was a very good hotel, though I wanted to note a few details from my experience: - Check-in: I arrived early and had to wait about three hours before my room was ready, which was roughly 20 to 30 minutes prior to the standard 15:00 check-in time. - Pool and Spa Facilities: The pool was quite crowded in the evening due to children's swim lessons. The jacuzzi, wet sauna, and dry sauna were satisfactory, though the saunas were not extremely hot.
