Great Hotel in a Great Location
Why would you stay in a Times Sqaure Hotel when you can have an elegant stay at the Hotel Beacon on the Upper West Side? Classy, with large rooms in the best part of Manhattan, lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and yes with good subway links to Times Square and the rest of NYC.

Excellent stay
We had booked the wrong room. I thought I had 2 queens, but it was a king room. They were so kind looking at our family and said we needed more room. They upgraded us. When we came home from a day at the theater, the kids were delighted to find their beds made and their stuffies waiting for them. The water was nice for showers, towels were soft. Nice toiletries. The beds were comfortable. The elevators were fast. Great for a show at the Beacon. A diner is also attached. The subways are a small walk away.
