4/10 Poor

The key did not work for the door after we went to get something to eat. and could not find anybody at front desk to deal with it. Had to find somewhere else to sleep. When we came the next morning to let them know, there was no remorse or compensation for it.

6/10 Okay

I hope you don’t want a hot or even a warm shower or even a slightly cold shower after a run you will get one temperature glacier cold The room was clean lots of food places near by
Daylin, 3-night trip

8/10 Good

No, it's not the most modern hotel, the property itself is dated. But for the price, it rates high for the amenities. The staff is committed to making things right and providing a safe and comfortable stay. Very pleasant people and hard workers.
John, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

There was definetely illegal dealing occuring during the late night. Our room had a broken door hinge and was easily able to open the door even when properly closed.
Vincent, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

I want to be transparent here. My room was barebones, but it is what I paid for, and for that I was satisfied. If you’re looking for the 5 star experience without paying for it, that’s unrealistic here for right now. The staff were friendly and flexible. It’s my hope that Richmond hotel will provide more amenities, upgrades, and repairs as it gets more guests there.
Ryan, 3-night trip

2/10 Terrible

Literally the most disgusting motel in America

Every single thing was stained and broken, no towel, rudely kicked out at 10AM, walls are filled with stains, and room had 2 roaches in it. Someone even slept in a car outside my room in an otherwise empty lot and keep peeping in.

Room smelled cigarette smoke. Not well kept. Did not stay. Request refund
Donna, 1-night trip

<<< SCAM ALERT >>> This hotel should be removed from Expedia’s list of hotels. The worst hotel I have ever seen. Dirty stain pillow cases and sheets. Door frame broken from recent forcible entry. They couldn’t find a clean room. I left and they didn’t want to refund my money. I had to call my connections to make them refund or they would be shut down. DO NOT book this hotel.

Bugs in Richmond

The Richmond Motel should be shut down and certainly taken off your list. I liked the name and risked the "fair" rating and regretted it terribly. It was worse than filthy with bugs that I filmed and attached. There were two double beds and only one was clean. There were no towels at all. I feel like I have some PTSD after the night. I want to know if I encounter such a room and I have already paid for it is there any recourse in canceling and getting my money returned?

The staff were pleasant. The room had seen better days. Tv did not work dirty towel was left in the bathroom and some trash on the floor.

10/10 Excellent

It didn’t smell like garbage. It totally didn’t feel gross just standing in the bathroom. I most certainly did not almost gag when I first walked in. I didn’t get drunk in the parking lot with my friends either. I did bring a sleeping bag.

The property was a health (bedbugs & dirty linen) & safety (faulty street level door lock)
Jacqueline, 1-night trip

Worst stay ever.

It wasn't located in the best part of town and the sheets were dirty/stained and has burnt holes in them. Asked associate at front desk for some clean sheets and he said he would get me some but never saw him or the sheets. The door handle broke off on the inside of the room and lucky I'm handy and was able to fix it so we can get out of the room. There is no phone in the room. The remote didn't work t.v. so we were unable to control volume, or tun it on/off. Would never stay there again. Now why I see why it was cheaper than the other hotels but I would of paid more if I knew it was like this.

Never stay here unless you want to die

Filthy, frightening, smelled like an ashtray, floors covered in dirt and hair. Door handles looked like they been kicked in multiple times. Broken mortar at every opening. This is a rent by the hour dive. Every surface was dirty - I wiped it all down with chlorox wipes (came out black) and was still afraid to touch anything. This place shouldn't even be listed with Hotels.com - it's a crack house. The security lights beam into the room around the town vinyl window covering so it's too bright to sleep, and every car that passes sounds like it will roll over your bed. A nightmare! Please remove this property and protect the public!!
Christina, 2-night trip

Thanks, Mo

Mo was a great host. This is walking distance to the fan and right on a frequent bus line to the canal and downtown. There's a really great shrimp and chicken takeout right next door.
