This is a beautiful, excellent, historic hotel in the best part of old town Bucharest. The bed was comfortable, with a selection of pillows. The food at breakfast and in the restaurant was delicious. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel is walkable and interesting, with many of the best restaurants, theaters and museums in Bucharest within a few minutes walk. This place feels like a 5-star hotel, without feeling pretentious. I loved staying here and highly recommend it to others. I plan to stay here again next time I'm in Bucharest.

absolute highlight of this Hotel is the truly spectacular architecture. It was once a private bank. Not sure of the exact vintage but late 19th century art nouveau. One of the most impressive and beautiful buildings I’ve ever stayed in. The incredible bronze safe in the lobby is worth the price of admission alone. Location is perfect. A minute’s walk from the old town. I can’t remember much about my room but I’m sure it was nice!

Fantastic stay in a historic place
The hotel is located in the historic old city near the National Bank. The area is safe and clean. It is convenient for doing anything in the city, tourism or business. The breakfast was most impressive. Great service and plentiful choice of food, everything was amazing. Good old tradition of high end hotel is preserved here with a very reasonable price. My wife and I had a great time here.

For a 5 star hotel the rooms are very small. The carpet in the room has stains on it and it does not feel like a 5 star hotel. When you walk into the hotel the check in desk doesn’t even greet you and nobody offers to help you with your luggage.
The bar is very nice and has good service. Overall this hotel is in a good location and in a cool building but not worth the price they charge.
