What a joy it was to stay here. So good, in fact, that I stayed an extra night. The staff are all lovely, the location is beautiful, the house is warm and inviting with log burners, leather sofas and sheepskin rugs in the lounge. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the food excellent (the cooked to order breakfast with kippers and porridge is definitely recommended, but the continental breakfast was also a real treat - those croissants…👌). Faultless. And I’m hard to please.

Playing board games by the fireplace in the evenings was a lovely touch. It’s only a ten minute drive into Oban, burger e high away that it’s peaceful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. The room was spacious, pretty well furnished and clean. Dinner and breakfast was not exceptional but OK. However the biggest pluses were the tranquil location overlooking Loch Feochan and the staff. From arrival to departure every member of staff we encountered was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Tom needs to be singled out for being exceptionally helpful when we discovered a tyre puncture on departure. He helped us to source and arrange for a replacement and fix. despite missing our lunch appointment, the hotel is hardly a bad place to spend an extra 90mins. Very highly recommended.

Spotless and beautiful rooms, superb service from the staff who were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Parking was very easy. Eating in was a little pricey but standard did not disappoint. This is a very nice property outside of Oban. Knipoch House Hotel is situated in a quiet location and offers very good food on-site. We were only there for a short time, on our way to Glasgow, but it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.
