Very good 8.0
We were promptly checked in by Aaron who was very nice and was able to upgrade our room to a higher floor. There was a large sign in the lobby displaying their upcoming renovations. The carpeting in the hallways was very stained and looked bad. The room itself was was fine. Clean. Highlight was the shower. Maybe the best shower I’ve ever taken. The water pressure was so good it was almost painful - in a good way! The breakfast in the morning was a full buffet with lots of options such as make your own waffles, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, oatmeal with almond and dried fruit options. Cereal. 2 different fruit smoothies. Yogurt. Various breads and muffins, etc. the hotel location was perfect! Could walk to all kinds of food, museums were a &9 Uber away. We drove 15 mins to Georgetown for dinner and cupcakes. Would definitely stay here again!

Poor 2.0
Dont waste your money here!
i will not recommend you pay $150 a night to stay in a hotel that the front desk lady was rude ABSOLUTELY no emotion form her, the parking they literally told to either pay them $60 or just go find some parking after i called before hand to ask if they had it and it was free and they said YES total scam! I travel with a child and they had no pack and plays,my sink was clogged and beds dirty the pool is full with mold and the rooms where dirty, the only nice thing about this hotel is the breakfast ladies that help us some what even thought they speak little English. and to top it off they charge you $50 a night as a deposit and force you to pay it beforehand, if you already have my CC why do you want me to pay ? as Hampton inn this hings should not happen. absolutely disappointing! dont waste your money here not worth it!we had no option to stay in this place for 2 days because we live 12 hours away and do not know this city, but if it was for me i would had preferred to stay some where else ! they take advantage of people! horrible service horrible!

Poor 2.0
The hotels &staff were great. On the other hand, the parking attendant was EXTREMELY rude & unhelpful, I arrived and he told me the lot was full & I should park up the street. I told me I had prepaid for valet parking & he continually told me to go park somewhere else. After SEVERAL minutes of arguing he checked his list & realized I had a spot to park. Other vehicles arrived & not only did he get a luggage cart for them but he also helped them with their luggage. To me he said “if you have any bags I suggest you get them out now” he then asked me not once but twice where his tip was? After checking into my room I realized I had left something in the car. No wonder after all the problems just getting my car parked! I went to the garage and the attendant huffed & acted extremely bother by the fact he had to show me to my car, he then had the nerve to tell my it would cost me $5.00. I travel an extreme number of times a year and have NEVER been treated so badly by anyone! whether it bite in the U.S. or a foreign country! I will NEVER stay at your hotel or any of your affiliated hotels again. I usually use this chain of hotels but as I said Never again. I was running late for my appointment, due to the 15 minutes I had to argue with the parking attendant or I would have brought this to the managers attention right then!

Exceptional 10.0
Pleasant first time in DC
Fan on air conditioner was stuck on low speed, but they offered us a choice of two other rooms right away. This was on Labor Day weekend. Breakfast was really good, service Very attentive. Easy to catch the circulator bus a block and a half away, which was free to go around all the major sites. Allowed us to store our bags before check-in and after check out so that we could go sightseeing. Actually, the room was ready at 12:30 or so instead of the normal 4 o’clock check-in. Comfortable bed.

Exceptional 10.0
My friends and I had a pleasant stay. The only problem I had was with the request we had prior to checkin. After booking 2 rooms I called and requested for adjoining rooms, since I’ll be with my girlfriends. I was assured it’s very much possible and is noted on my reservation. Called again 3 days before our checkin and was told its been taken care of. Called again while driving 30minutes from hotel and was told it’s all been taken care of and guaranteed. We arrived earlier than checkin time because we had our car orked with valet early at 130pm which was good. Front desk tells us we could checkin early but only in one room because the other one isn’t ready yet. So perfect we unloaded our bags and once inside the room we found out it wasn’t adjoining. We talked to front desk and was told it wasn’t guaranteed and there are no adjoining rooms available. Had to be tough and told him it wasnt good customer service giving us false promises and giving us all these excuses. After talking with manager finally they said they have adjoing rooms available but we’ll have to wait til 4pm to het rooms ready. We had to leave the room, load our plenty stuff into trolley and leave thwm with staff as we have places to go while waiting. The front desk we talked with earlier wasn’t as cheerful and pleasant as he was the first time we talked. But all good though the rest of staff was friendly. Our issue was fixed and we had a great stay!
