Villa Oriana Relais is a very peaceful place. The view is amazing. The owner (Maria) is a very kind lady and the staff were great in helping the guests. We had the best ever vacation there.

Property was beautiful with great views. Owner was great and took the time to have a conversation with us, gave us lemonade and cake upon check in, we missed breakfast but they took great care of us and got us coffee and cake! Amazing staff!

Would definatly recommend.
The staff and owner are amazing. They couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was like nothing else, freshly baked and prepared. The delux family room had two bathrooms and a lovely terrace. Only regret was not staying longer amazing thank you.

Amazing!
Perfect view! Great stuff ( especially the beautiful Colomba)!
The breakfast was delicious and all of it from products that the grown in their farm.
The room was huge and modern. There is also a parking if you arriving with a car.
Note that there isn’t elevator and most of the rooms is in the lower levels.

We were given a bucket, know the risks….
We spent two nights at Villa Oriana Relais and wanted to like. However, the first day we arrived (Sunday), the toilet did not work. We were told it could not be fixed, because plumbers had the day off. Ok……
We were given a bucket, and for the whole day and night had a non-functioning toilet. We were also given a key for a toilet we could use two floors below us.
While we like the property and the villa overall, all we were basically told was “ we are sorry”. No compensation, no “sorry we will give you your money back for the day”, just an excuse that “plumbers were all at the beach on Sunday”……The Villa was expensive, and literally nothing for the first day and night. Just a bucket.
Hope you don’t get a bucket and nothing to show for it. The family is nice, the breakfast is nice, blah, blah, blah. But no effort to switch our room and no compensation for having to use a bucket.
Sorry, but now you know the risks…,..

Beautiful property and lovely hostess. They took wonderful care of my husband and me. The view from their balcony is worth it, but the morning breakfast was the best we had with fresh cakes and pastries. Additionally, we were served freshly squeezed orange juice and lemonade.
If you’re coming with luggage from the train station, we recommend arranging a taxi. The property is on a steep hill.

Incredible honeymoon venue
We started our honeymoon in this beautiful villa and couldn’t have been happier with the privacy and restful ambience. The staff made sure it was very special with a beautiful room with a comfortable bed and champagne in the sitting area that lead onto the terrace. We always looked forward to breakfast as home made cakes were made every morning as well as continental favourites. The jacuzzi on the top level was amazing to relax in and take in the incredible view. We had a massage booked for us in our room and wine one of the nights too. They also recommended a few restaurants who did a pick up
And drop off service which was much appreciated.
The walk up the hill wasn’t too bad also. Would 100% recommend.

So many things to like when staying there. Surrounded by a garden full with lemon trees and olive trees, it offers any visitor the chance for one of the most spectacular views on the Italian coast. When entering the garden, I was impressed on how lemon trees guarded the path to the villa. it gives you a sense of surreal that only handful of locations can offer.
Signora Maria and all her team make this place even more special as it become obvious to us how much love and dedication they put in everything they do for visitors to feel exquisite.
The breakfast offered is top notch, with so many mouth-watering alternatives, all done the same morning by Signora Maria and her staff. Both I and my daughter are intolerant to gluten and every single day we had special food done for us. I would say that we've been treated in this respect better than everywhere we've been so far on 3 continents in 5 stars locations.
And if food will not suffice for one's enjoyment, taking the breakfast on the villa's terrace offering the view of the entire gulf (from Naples and Vesuvius to Ischia Island) in front of your eyes will definitely do that! :) No wonder that in Italian, some call this place: "L'anticamera del Paradiso"
All in all, we felt like aristocrats enjoying spending summer on family's "Italian-coast-mansion"! A unique feeling that we'll always associate when remembering about Villa Oriana.

Increíble vista. La atención es excelente. María y su staff son maravillosos, atentos y cordiales. Las habitaciones son amplias y lindas. El desayuno con pasteles recién horneados por la misma María son increíbles. Regresaría ahí sin lugar a dudas. Si van a la costa de Amalfi, hagan de este lugar su punto de partida, y de ahí vayan a todas las pueblos en bote.

All the glowing reviews made me wonder if it was too good to be true, but I cannot say enough good about our six night stay. Nestled among lemon trees and with a spectacular view looking down on Sorrento and across to Capri and Vesuvius. Maria and her team are extremely helpful and just lovely people. The breakfasts are amazing, her special cakes not to be missed. If you want to be where all the tourists are, this is not the spot for you. If you don't have a car, it may not be ideal unless you like to walk off the breakfast. But if you are looking for a quiet, clean refuge after a day of sightseeing -- jacuzzi with a view included -- put Villa Oriana at the top of your list.

So so so happy in Sorrento!
Maria and her staff take care of you like family. We had only booked 3 nights and loved it so much we booked a 4th while we were there. Room was lovely and everything was immaculate. Lovely home baked snacks are left in your room every afternoon. The grounds are gorgeous - a lemon grove behind the entrance gate takes you to the villa. Maria’s made-from-scratch breakfasts were a visual feast and so delicious. Wonderful tortes, quiches, cakes, fresh fruit, eggs by request, cereal, yogurt, meats and cheeses.....The entire staff was so helpful, assisting us with local logistics and dinner reservations. Really felt like we were visiting family. The only bad thing to say is that we had to leave.
