I stayed at the same hotel 10 years ago, I found it was dated back then. With the recent visit, nothing was changed. Still feel very dated, although well maintained. My room was on the non-smoking floor. However, upon entering the room, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke. The receptionist quickly re-assigned a new room without questions asked. The new room appeared to be clean without smoke smell. Unfortunately the 2nd night, I could smell the smoke again. My guess was someone was smoking and the smell traveled through the ventilation into my room.
