The place was close to everything, including shops and eateries. It was also a short walk to the train station. The room had useful amenities. In the building, there is a Lawson store stocked with really good snacks. The room was small but that is expected. We only needed it for a place to sleep in. Overall, this is a good place to stay; it's clean, it's in the center of everything and most of all, it's very affordable.

3.5 stars. Very affordable and well located. Small rooms which is not unusual in Japan. Didn’t realise gym and pool were both pay to use when booking, probably only down side. Surrounded by laneways with restaurants and close to subway / easy to get around.

El Hotel muy bonito, céntrico pero las habitaciones son en miniatura , no hacen limpieza de los cuartos solo te dejan una bolsa en la puerta con toallas limpias el Desayuno $45 por persona era un buffet , pudo ser mejor . Impersonable and too busy!
Tried to check in half an hour early as I had a child with medical issues (2.30pm) instead of 3 and was told strictly no check in until 3pm. The lobby was full of people waiting and then check in was done by self service machines only. I then had go line up at reception to collect our suitcases. They weren't even taken up to the room even though they arrived hours before we did! For the 4 days the lifts were always jammed full and had to wait to get in them. The hotel facilities are excellent and is a nice hotel but very impersonable and sterile. Wouldnt stay in an APA like that again.

The room is far too small!
The room is far too small. Check in and out are self service. When I have asked staff to call taxi, I was just given the list of taxi companies and their telephone number and told me can you call taxi by yourself. Apa hotel is not cheap hotel anymore so it’ not worth it!

The hotel was okay. The walls are not cleaned, so you might want to do a wipe around certain areas since the room is small and you will hit a wall. The breakfast buffet is great, a long time period to redeem and plenty of options. Don’t expect a good view if you choose the city view option. The public bath is a good feature. Going to/from the hotel to the train is not straight forward, but you will get used to it. Umeda station has direct trains to a lot of places.
