Hotel Europa
The room did not have A/C. It was a lot of noise from people and cars in the street. The blankets smelled cigars, and one of the blankets had two holes from cigarettes burning. However the bathroom was ok, clean and enough space. The room also had plenty of space. The WiFi was ok.

Beds so low
The beds were so low, we could hardly get in them, they were to low to the floor, they were like camp beds.

Cheapish and central but not cheerful
Clean room, good location. Food and drinks dispensers but no change available. Room and bathroom just adequate. Heating and noise insulation adequate too.

2/10 Poor

Brilliantly Rubbish
It's an utterly horrible hotel. They messed up our room bookings, the rooms bathrooms were unclean and horrible, random bits of material had been used as curtains and half the fittings didn't work. I knew it was going to be rubbish, and the reason I chose it was the location, perfectly between the main square and station. I spent very little time there, and it is fine for a one night stay after a night out, but for anymore look somewhere else, anywhere else.

Horrible! Do not stay here!
It is extremely run down. The sheets and pillows had cigarette burns. There was a hole in the ceiling of the bathroom. The shower only came on for 30 seconds at a time, was too hot to stand in and could not be adjusted.

Great location, service, but minimum comfort
it was good for one night stay before another destination. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodated our special request. However, there were no closet or any hooks or hangers to hang the clothes and even towels. The room was large, which compensated for other discomfort. The price is reasonable for such a good location in the center of the city. We had a heavy luggage and were pleased that it was only a few minutes walking distance from the train station.

At least it's cheap
Cheap and good location in Montpelier with friendly, efficient staff. However the room, whilst clean, was very tatty. Normally I wouldn't be too fussed, but there wasn't even a toilet seat and most light bulbs weren't working. It's a roof over your head and that's about it, though it is a good central location for a low price.

Disgraceful hotel
What a awful place, can`t believe its classed as a hotel. A hostel would be more accurate. Thankfully we were only booked one night. Theres holes in the walls, no light in bathroom doors don`t fit, no pillow, no toilet seat . Our view was of a concrete shaft. The only good thing is its 5 mins from the train station. Would sugest you find somewhere else to stay. Would not recommend

Abasun Montpellier - cheap, well located
This hotel is cheap and very well located, between the main train station and Place de la Comédie, downtown. However it lacks the standard modern comfort: no elevator, old washroom, only one light, and it looks not very clean.

Great Location
The hotel is in a great location, right off Place de La Comédie. If you're looking for a centrally located hotel with no frills then this is it. Air con, TV, hot water in the rooms, friendly staff. Perfect for our few days in Montpellier.

Abasun Hotel in Montpellier - Horrible!
Like what almost everyone says in their reviews, I will NEVER again stay at this hotel. It was too expensive for what it offers. My room was on the 3rd floor (of course, no elevator,) and the AC in the room "did not work" as the guy at the front desk told me, and when I arrived at the hotel there was no towels in the room. Somebody brought two towels to my room after I checked in and was away sightseeing. The room was really like a prison cell and was not so clean. TV didn't even have a remote, and there was no phone, no nothing!!! It was just plain terrible. i should've read the reviews before booking this hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I'd rather stay at a youth hostel than stay at this place for the price I paid for it.

Abusan hotel montpelier
Location was perfect and the sheets were clean and there was hot water. Fortunately we only had to stay at the hotel one night as the room was dirty and many light bulbs did not work. Much tidying up needed in rooms but guess you get vwhat you pay for. Definately would not go back or recommend. Guess hotel good for backpackers.

Mainly poor
Overall pretty poor On the good side, the location is excellent, but no loo seat or shower curtain in both our rooms. loose taps and electrical fittings. Unable to turn on air con on a 37 degree C day also not good.

only if you are desperate
The hotel was situated next to the train station - a plus - but next to a restaurant which can be noisy at night. There was no soap, shampoo, lotion , or anything in the room, there were wormlike creatures crawling in the shower, and no air conditioning that we could figure out how to turn on. We couldn't leave the windows open because there were no screens and the bats were up in the trees next to our window. The towels were small and dingy and there were no washcloths. There was no breakfast. The front desk host was very polite but they didn't open until the next day at 8am, so we couldn't even ask for the soap and shampoo, etc. There was a T.V. which helped to serve as a distraction, however. The youth in the neighborhood were rowdy and the locals who hung out at the train station were dressed like hookers or looked like they were under the influence of alcohol or drugs which made me thing this town as very shady. We only stayed for one night as a train stop on our way into Sain and were afraid to even walk the streets at night as we did Paris and Berlin. Nope, not here. If Montpellier has something to offer, the impression at the train station and this hotel overshadowed it.

Close to station and fun places to go out.
So the room was very basic and not pleasant on the eyes but the location could not be beat. No major complaints except maybe the timer light on the restroom. Other than that the room was clean and covered the basics.

Abasun Hotel
This hotel was in a great part of town, but it doesn't really cater to travelers as there is no elevator and if you have bags, you hoof them up at least one flight of stairs. The room was tolerable, but there was an intense smell of mold in the shower area that bled over into the room unless you kept the door shut. Couldn't use the shower because it smelled so bad. No air conditioning or at least the non-English speaking staff couldn't understand what we were asking in regards to getting it turned on.

hotel Abasun Montpellier
The hotel has 2,5 stars but they didn't have in 'their best room" even a closet to hang out your close, and in the bathroom they didn't have a toilet seat. And everyone there was telling us that there is nothing they can do, they are there only employees, and the manager even if they call him he won't solve the problem. And all that knowing that we payed the most expensive double room in the hotel...

Abasun, Montpellier
This hotel is superbly located but that is it's best feature. The rooms are very basic. There is no wardrobe, no telephone, no carpet and few (if any) wall furnishings. There is air conditioning but the remote is at reception. There is also a TV with just the basic, terrestrial channels and again, no remote in the room. The bathrooms are small with nowhere to unpack your toiletries and you will only get bulk, liquid soap (of a dubious colour.) There is a hairdryer. That said, the staff are friendly and helpful and if you you are aware of what you're getting into and do not mind eschewing your creature comforts, then this place is for you! I slept well here. My room was at the front but the double-glazing kept out all the noise. I also had a look at the tariffs of nearby hotels and this one is at least 1/3rd the price of those, so I slept even better! Getting here is so easy, as the tram stop is just outside, the St Roch station about a 3 minute walk (honestly) and the main square about the same. Would I stay here again? Yes, I would - unless it was a special occasion and I wanted to treat myself or my companion.

Not impressed at all.
I am not satisfied about the hotel because it wasn't as clean as it should be, I asked for double bed and I got to single beds and my mate got 3 single beds when we clearly said we want double. When the next morning I went out and in the evening I tried going back to the room and I opened the room and someone else was living there.

Location is barely worth it...
Unclean. Broken blinds on windows. Light in room did not work upon arrival and we had to change the light bulb. Bare minimum of furniture in room. NOISY in the hallways of hostel until 3 am (and on street below). All this place has going for it is the location. I would pay the taxi ride to another hotel next time to avoid staying here.
