Very nice hotel in incredible setting
Nice modern large room in an incredible setting. Excellent professional staff from all over the world. Enjoyed the restaurant too - especially the excellent buffet breakfast. Couldn’t find much local public transportation so important to have a car. Pool facilities looked nice but we didn’t partake

Would recommend
Lovely hotel, very friendly and polite staff, would recommend staying in this hotel. If you’re travelling with a pram would specify for a downstairs room as there is not lift so meant carrying a pram up and down the stairs every trip to the room. Breakfast was lovely, being a buffet really well cooked and always stocked. Drinker at the bar were well priced. Dinner was nice and well cooked, however very over priced. Being picky the rooms could do with a revamp however would recommend, we had a lovely stay, the staff were amazing and very dog and baby friendly.

Price
We booked 2 rooms for 1 Adult each room. The price increased on arrival. hotel could do nothing as was booked through hotels.com / Experian. Confusion between both agents meant manager couldn’t do anything to help.

Just a night at the Isles of Glencoe was not enough! We had an excellent stay and myself, wife and dog couldn’t have felt more welcome from every staff member we met. Great room with all we needed for a very comfortable stay and lovely thought to have small dog pack and the tennis ball was certainly appreciated. The breakfast was up there with the best with great selection and excellent quality. The fried potato scone was a real treat. Thank you…..we will be back!

The staff service at dinner was poor. The dinner was cold but when we complained they returned with a hot meal. The breakfast was excellent. But the hotel was tired. However the location was wonderful.

Beautiful property - but there is not much close by so ensure you get reservations at the restaurants early!

Isles of Glencoe is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed in. What made it special were the unique rooms and the incredible views of the loch and highlands. The staff was kind and accommodating and the dining room had a fantastic view. The food was wonderful with many special offerings. If we knew how beautiful the property was, we would have stayed longer. Isles of Glencoe will be on top of the list if we pass this way again.

Excellent Service in the Restaurant
We had an excellent experience staying here that was highlighted by the great service provided by our server Caio. He was very nice, attentive, and gave us recommendations for local attractions. Highly recommend!

2/10 Poor

Outside the property car park was busy and appearance was odd and next to a main road the views around the property was good but spoiled by the road noise. The picture attached hides all the real issues.

2/10 Poor

The hotel is very old and needs to be renovated as stains are everywhere; walls, carpet, doors. The rooms are not clean with stains in the carpet. The shower and faucet tubs don’t get drained. It was the worst hotel ever we experienced

2/10 Poor

The worst service by hotel restaurant staff. The room sheets and pillow cases were dirty and unchanged. There was make stains on the pillow cases. The room was overall in a very poor outdated and dusty dirty condition. It does not have air conditioning. Also, the noise was unbearable. Every time someone closed their room door, their doors just slammed and it made a very loud slamming noise in our room. The breakfast was absolutely disgusting. All plates smelled like rotten eggs and were dirty. The buffet should not be offered for human consumption. The dinner was another story. We made a reservation for three people and they marked two, so on top of the two hours we waited, we had to wait another 30 mins to be seated and another hour for food. Then they come and throw the bill with no pin or explanation of it should be paid to the room or a credit card, so another 30 mins wait for that and no one shows up. So, we go chase after them to pay the overly priced meals. Stay away. It a zero star hotel rating. We tried to get out and find another place to stay but everything was booked and full on Glencoe and driving at night is not safe there. Hope this helps.

Beautiful, comfortable & friendly
The Isles of Glencoe Hotel was a fantastic place to stay with our family on our first two nights in Scotland. Situated in the heart of the Highlands, the location was perfect for seeing the main sights, and felt very peaceful and quiet. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful when my father-in-law requested an extra bed sheet. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and the property is on the most beautiful lake so I highly recommend getting a room with a lake-side view. My one comment is that it seems to be a hotel where many travel groups and groups with young children come through, so it was difficult to get in for dinner on the first night, and the breakfast buffet was a bit messy and less professionally run than some of the hotels during the rest of our stay. The dinner that we did have was very good though! All in all, it was a lovely stay and no real complaints. Thank you.
