Breakfast fresh.Unclear whether you were allowed to drive/drop off outside hotel..So many preventative signs, so unsure whether this is permitted especially as it there are cameras there making one fearful of fines !

8/10 Very good

Saying at this hotel turned out to be a very good decision. The parking, while not onsite, was VERY conveniently located literally right next door. Hotel gives you a parking discount. The hotel is a VERY short walk to the Royal Amouries and Leeds Dock/Canal turned out to be a great place to explore! Shops, cafes and drinks within walking distance. I've stayed in hotels all over the world... from luxury to AirBnBs and everything in between and I have to say that I have NEVER stayed anywhere, where the HOTEL STAFF have ALL BEEN WARM, FRIENDLY and HELPFUL!!!!! The staff at this Holiday Inn Express are the hotels BIGGEST ASSET!!!!! The hotel room could have had a little more room "counter/table top-space", but for a weekend it worked out fine. I found the breakfast, which was included to be generous. Lots to choose from and if you were in a hurry, pack a breakfast bag to go. The value for the weekend stay was excellent!!! I would stay here again!!!

Verified review

8/10 Very good

Hotel is in a great location near the canal, Leeds dock and the Armouries museum and a 15min pleasant walk to the city centre. Very quiet area, no traffic, but with a clean parking lot nearby. Comfortable double room with a huge bed, although we were provided with a room for disabled people which we didn't ask for (hotel was allegedly full so unable to change). Very good breakfast with plenty of choice and in a large open dining area.
