A memorable stay
It was a wonderful experience staying at the Lyrath. The gracious and helpful employees, the sublime surroundings, the delicious dinner at the steakhouse and our amazing room made our anniversary very memorable. We hope to be back every time we are home in Ireland visiting family. We absolutely loved our stay.

Possibly one of the most stunning hotels we have stayed in. The Lyrath grounds are gorgeous and only surpassed by the stunning interior courtyard reception area that greets you when you first arrive. Everything from the multiple restaurants to the bar and lounge areas, this place just wraps you in comfort. Keeping with the decor of the lobby, our hotel room was more like a full suite with separate rooms for changing, bathing and sleeping. Heated bathroom floors, a 4 piece ensuite bathroom and even a private toilet room made this all feel first class. We only stayed one night so didn’t have time for spa or a hike around the property but we would make time for these amenities absolutely on a future return. If you get the chance, do stay here and experience luxury. One general comment about not only this hotel but really all the areas we visited in Ireland is that we found the Irish to be wonderful people, kind and attentive, and truly hospitable in all respects. The people here have left a very positive lasting impression on our whole family.

Stayed in a Manor House Suite for one night. Enjoyed a massage, time in the spa, a walk within the grounds, and dinner at The Grill & Bar. The room was large and very satisfactory. The spa was pleasant. The restaurant food was okay (had a burger with no choice on how to be cooked which signals to me it isn’t fresh which I would expect at a site of this calibre), drinks were great. The staff overall are fantastic and friendly with a real can do attitude and mucking in together to give a great experience. The hotel grounds are wonderful and with two distance designated walks (2.5km and 4km) options are simple to navigate. Were it not for some overspilling noise from the resident’s bar overnight I would have given 5* overall. Staff however responded positively when discussed and made additional efforts to make things right so you can’t fault that. Bumped into the owners while walking the grounds. I get they live on site but a short chat with customers wouldn’t go a miss. You never know who your customers are.

This Estate is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. If you’re looking for amazing food beautiful grounds and a magical experience, this is it. Our room was massive. We had our own sitting area outside our room and our bathroom could have held a party.
