I have stayed at this hotel several times and always been satisfied with my experience, but this time my room had bedbugs.

Great hotel
Great staff & great room. Worked out well for us because my husband & I had separate bedroom from my adult special needs son because it’s important he has his own space.

Was a place to sleep.
It was a place to sleep. The room was OK on cleanliness, but it seems they didn't bother with the bathroom other than to put clean towels in it. The sink didn't drain, there was block hair all around and a hanger on the shower bar. The Tub looked dirty..
And there is No Applebetne t door as listed in the site. I was told it closed over 1 year ago.

20 Sept 2024
We booked this hotel and paid what we thought wasn’t bad considering it was Country Inn and Suites but it was a huge disappointment. We would have been better off at cheap side road motel for what we got. It looks like they did a crappy job renovating. Our son’s room had a bed that totally caved-in in the middle. The bathroom door doesn’t lock secure and the shelf under the sink was falling in on itself. The elevator floors were buckling up, which is not very safe for the handicapped and elderly we were traveling with.

I will stay again
Customer service was excellent but the place really needs remodeling.
Pool was full of bugs jets weren’t working for filtration.
We stayed for three days and the pool area was never cleaned (there was the same clothes and belongs in the area for the three days we went to the pool)
While walking on the floors in the hallway you can feel where it has caved in
The dryer didn’t work in order to do laundry
The staff were excellent and kind and their daily breakfast was good. Rooms were clean
Bathroom had some mildew in the shower but the water temperature was good ( I love hot water)

Do not recommend
1st room we were issued, the AC was busted and it was 80 degrees in the room. Moved to a 2nd room and the toilet seat was falling off, the carpets were stained and smelled horrible and the paint was peeling off the walls. When we needed an additional bath towel, the attendant couldn't be bothered so told us to go grab pool towels. The flooring was peeling off the elevator. Chlorine level in the pool was so high, our childrens skin burned. Breakfast was meek. Will not recommend to anyone

First room had dog hair all over the bed and smelt bad. Second room had a heavy scent of fabuloso but under that was an awful dog/pee smell. I wouldn't walk on the floor without my sneakers because it was so filthy and smelly. We slept and ran to our next hotel and showered. You can tell this hotel was once nice but they ruined it by allowing animals to pee and poop on the floors. At the least they should have rooms for people with pets and rooms for people without.

The good: close proximity to I-95; separate bedroom and sitting area.
The bad: pretty sure a violent crime of some kind occurred in the room we stayed in … there was a head-shaped hole in the closet door. Desk chair looked like it had been mauled by wild animals. Probably would have gotten plaguebola from the sofa bed. Tried to draw the curtains so it would be darker in the room and I wouldn’t be able to tell how awful it actually was, but curtains were falling down.
Just. No. I recommend going another couple of exits.

Affordable stay not family stay friendly
Staff were welcoming and friendly during all interactions, and we interacted with three different team members. The hotel was quiet and facilities looked good, minus some cosmetic things on the outside of the building likely from years of existence. Our pillows smelled of mildew and the room had a rank odor after walking back in each time. We sprayed the room very well to rid the odor but it came back after long hours of inoccupancy. The pillows couldn’t be replaced because they didn’t have anymore. The washcloths could stand the be replaced, as some looked dingy
