Anantara Mui ne may 2019
This last trip to the anantara was at the end of business trip to Vietnam with a few days by the beach in Mui ne. I have stayed at the anantara before and is the reason I choose to relax in Mui ne. You are announced with to striking of a huge gong. I received a taster massage and welcome drink on arrival. Checkin was quick and efficient. My room 305 was on the corner facing rear and side, large room, large comfortable bed, the aircon quiet and efficient. I love the use of natural slate in the bathroom, the bath is enormous and made from slate. Best bathroom in all my travels. THe gardens are a little oasis, immaculately manicured, if you were to put any part of the gardens at Chelsea flower show it would win a medal. Breakfast is self service from a buffet after being received, seated and drinks order taken. I had the Phu soup, fruit and yogurt each morning, but many more options to choose from. Sunset hour at the flow bar 5-6.30pm is a must, I would have several of the Pasteur Saigon brewery craft draft beer called "jasmine" superb, 55,000vdn ++. On two of the evenings I eat at the Thung restaurant watching the fishing boats trickle on the horizon. PHuong, who served me, is a delight. She suggested I eat at the restaurant, suggested the dishes I might try, was attentive and fun. I love to travel by train and made my way to and from Mui ne this way. ON arriving from the north I stopped at Binh thuan station and took a taxi to hotel 435,000vdn
