We stayed with 3 children, the location and facilities are excellent. What makes this hotel extra special are the fantastic staff who are helpful and friendly. My children really enjoyed the pebble beach and the lifeguards made sure my children had something to play with. Stay was perfect. Minutes away from the train station and close to the main part of SML. The room was a bit small but still great with a view of the ocean. Grounds were well kept and the Spa facilities were a hit. To top off the nice experience was the friendly & helpful staff.

Classic Elegance with metal key you leave at front desk. Very Convenient to walk from train station 3-5min. Go down the winding road then you'll go left up & hotel on right. I didn't have time for the spa and fitness center but is they both looked Amazing! Breakfast was great with variety. Bed was comfortable. Location was Great! Bus & Ferry Port walking distance for Portofino. Pool area had chairs with adjustable head cover attached to lounger. I thought great for the price too. Highly Recommend! I

Four or five star hotels in Santa Margherita are expensive but the Metropole lives up to expectations. We had a quiet, well appointed room which was very clean and had a great modern bathroom. It was a garden suite. Hotel seems slightly old fashioned at first contact but bedrooms are good, the staff and service are excellent and it has a decent restaurant. We eat there both nights. It was great to have parking right outside as well. Nice indoor and outdoor pools and garden areas. Also a gym and spa as well. Good breakfast buffet with plenty of choice.
