Peaceful hotel minutes from Nyon. We spent a night here to explore the Geneva area before heading to Gruyere for the day en route to Chamonix . Took a nice little side trip to Yvoire by ferry right in Nyon. Even used the Hotel bicycles to go for a ride around the area which was fun. Great location, staff and ambiance.

My husband and I enjoyed ordering food from the restaurant at the hotel and eating on the terrace outside of our room. The chocolate lava cake was especially delicious. The property is a bit dated and the air conditioning was not very effective at keeping the room cool, but our stay was otherwise comfortable. We appreciated that robes were provided in the room.

Air conditioning in my room did not work at all. It was the hottest day in Geneva and I filtered my Expedia search specifically for rooms with air conditioning. I tried calling the front desk to see if I could move but could not get through and since I was only staying for one night, didn’t bother pushing further.

Das Frühstück ist nicht zum Emptfehlen. Angelaufenes Fleisch und kleine Gipfel nicht richtig gebacken, für dieses Frühstück 25.- zu viel zum Bezahlen. Cooo Restaurant bessere Backwaren und guten Kaffee zum geniessen und viel günstiger.

Notre séjour dans ce petit hôtel plein de charme a été une très belle expérience, notamment grâce à son emplacement magnifique au bord du lac et à son grand espace vert. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons bénéficié d'un très bon accueil à la réception. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le "beach bar" situé en contrebas, au bord de l'eau : c'est une excellente idée pour siroter de bons cocktails accompagnés de biscuits salés, confortablement installés dans les fauteuils et chaises longues. Côté nuit, la chambre s'est révélée spacieuse, très fonctionnelle et dotée d'un grand dressing. La salle de bain, avec sa douche et sa baignoire séparées, ainsi que le petit balcon offrant une vue très sympa en fin de journée, ont été de vrais atouts. À l'arrière du bâtiment, la petite piscine extérieure offre un coin de calme appréciable avec ses parasols, même si le fait que l'aspirateur y reste immergé 24h/24 n'inspire pas totalement la sécurité pendant la baignade. Le seul véritable point negatif de notre séjour concerne le restaurant de l'hôtel. L'accueil était sans plus et le serveur un peu indélicat et nonchalant. Cela nous a poussés à aller manger ailleurs. C'est dommage pour l'établissement, car nous avons trouvé notre bonheur juste à côté, vers le petit port, où le restaurant voisin sert une très bonne cuisine avec un personnel particulièrement sympathique. Un effort de formation sur le service restaurateur permettrait à cet hôtel d'atteindre un sans-faute.
