It's quaint
It was a quaint motel and check in was smooth. There was only one side table and lamp, so when two people are traveling it's a little hard but we made due by use of the desk chair.

Hidden gem!
I was weary about booking a motel, but there wasn’t many options for boarding in Ely. However, I was very pleasantly surprised with Four Sevens Motel! The rooms were nice, updated floors and furniture, and VERY CLEAN! You can smell the cleanliness when you walk in and we immediately felt relaxed and comfortable. The room also had both a microwave and refrigerator, which is so nice while traveling. Honestly, this motel was much nicer than many hotels I’ve stayed in in the past. Would definitely recommend Four Sevens Motel if you’re staying in the Ely area!

Walls are paper thin. No sound proofing so heard neighbours loud talking until 3 am. Also, noise of door slamming many times in wee hours of night. Left at 5 am with little sleep due to noise.
