Rooms are Shoebox Size; Your thing:stay here
The rooms are about the size of a shoebox. They are no longer than a king size bed, which of butts against each wall and requires the second person sleeping in that bed to crawl over the first to get in. The bathrooms are approximately the size of an airline bathroom. the beds themselves are uncomfortable there is no gym and no on-site parking there is also very loud music playing in the bar until about 10 PM tonight. I would say absolutely do not stay here!

Avoid if you can
From all of the guests being woken up by the fire alarm between 5 am- 8 am because they were cooking bacon for breakfast and had poor ventilation to having to take cold showers, this stay would not be a recommendation. It seems that this kind of thing happens a lot because the staff was generally unapologetic and offered a meager discount for what most would consider a ruined stay at this hotel.

Great space
We picked this hotel mainly for value - price was great and hotel looked modern online. We knew the room would be on the smaller side but were pleasantly surprised at how well the layout was. We were there for three nights - bed was very comfortable and there was enough room for us to hang up some clothes and store things in the drawers etc. The hotel’s public spaces were great for lounging so you don’t have to spend time in the room if you wanted to relax - pool area was great and the lounge on second floor is open 24/7. Also walking distance to Lincoln Road mall.

This my first time staying with CitzenM. My Bestfriend stayed with them in DC and loved it. So I gave it a try. All my friends and family was at The Clevelander and Essex on South Beach but was jealous that how my hotel looked and my price.

CitizenM South beach is perfectly located and allows easy walking to shops and restaurants. The rooms, although quite small, are very modern and offer great views. The technological vibe was a plus, from check in, being in the room, and checking out. You’re able to select your room view, create your own room keys, control your room lights, temperature and window shades using the iPad provided
