Clean, simple, excellent location
Its NYC, its an old hotel, but it is well maintained, clean, and housekeeping came everyday to make sure we had anything we needed, clean towels, soap etc. Location was excellent, continental breakfast was limited, bagels and muffins, but very yummy. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for affordable accommodations in the heart of Manhattan.

The location was great. The workers were friendly and helpful. The hotel is smaller which i like and the room was big by NY city standards. The breakfast doesn't start until 8 , this is late when you want to get on the go early.

The room was at an amazing price for Manhattan. The employees, including the front desk and housekeeping were friendly and helpful. The room was larger than most of the rooms I have stayed in older Manhattan buildings turned into hotels. Everything was clean. Great location, and very close to a couple of subway stops. This is not a corporate standard type of hotel like a newer Hyatt or Holiday Inn, but at half the price I would much rather stay here.

Convenient location. Housekeeping was great. Only offered bagels and muffins for breakfast. Fruit, yogurt or juice would have be nice. Did not have hot water in my shower. Hotel very outdated. Cigarette burns on the dresser. There is no bar service.
