5 Jul 2026It is an older, bare bones lodging under renovation so not perfect at this point but it was very reasonably priced with a clean room and comfortable beds. Manager Walt (and his family) live on the premises and were available at any time. Visiting with them made me feel like I was staying with an old friend. I look forward to visiting them again and seeing the progress.

23 Jul 2026King room recently remodeled. Appreciated hard flooring instead of carpet and dog friendly. Clean, hot water, nice kitchenette with fridge. Great TV viewing choices. Comfortable bed and plenty iof space. No stairs to climb and easy to get into. Sufficient free parking, trash receptacles outside, and parking lot was well kept. AC worked well. The manager on site was friendly and helpful. Close to morning coffee/snak options and walkable to downtown. Excellent price. Will stay again.

But it desperately needs to be refurbished although I understand that’s in the pipeline

3 Oct 2025Recently renovated room, dog friendly, and they are very accommodating. Pleasant stay after a lot of hiking in national parks, loved that it was off the main road in Powell - a bit quieter. I liked the keypad entry - felt more secure especially after tons of issues with keycards/rooms on the road.

Don’t judge a book by its cover! This place is definitely a diamond in the rough. It may not look like much on the outside, but the room was fantastic! Clean, newly remodeled on the inside with a very comfortable bed. We slept very well and the price is amazing! Staff was super friendly and very accommodating. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice, comfortable place to stay.

9 Sept 2025These are just THE nicest people who run the motel. The room was HUGE! Bed, pillows and coverings were so comfy. It was SO nice and cool. Bathroom was so great with a huge soaking tub and great shower. There is a private patio outside the back door where it was SO nice and quiet with a beautiful view. We slept so good! The little community felt safe. You DO have to go 7 min down the road to Ennis for meals (ate at 287 Tavern), it was great! I would stay here again.

9 Jul 2026We had two families staying in the suite. This room was like a house. The fully furnished kitchen was nice. Two bathrooms helped a lot as well. The staff were incredibly helpful!
Walt, the manager was super accommodating when a plumbing bypass valve randomly failed in the basement. He offered another room, but while we headed to the local pool to spend the day, he fixed the problem and cleaned up like the problem never existed.
A fun family vacation is never perfect, things go wrong and stuff happens. I'm glad that Walt was there to fix it when it did. And added to the stories we will remeber for years to come.
I love a good deal! And the price is definitely the best in town, especially when you figure everything you get when you book the suite. We also stayed at a hotsprings resort after this and paid 3 times the price for half the time, it was a "nicer" room, but the AC was faulty, not enough lighting, the shower head was brutal, couldn't drain the bathtub because the knob was missing, everything overpriced, not to mention all the hiddon fees! The room was way worse than the Jet Suite. Maybe the price being so different, changed my expectations. The Jet Motor Inn blew away my expectations, while the resort stay was not at all the level of "luxury" that we expected.
I will 100% be staying at Jet Motor Inn on my next visit to Powell.

30 Jun 2026Check-in was easy, as we were texted the room number, and the key was in the room. I was hoping to be able to visit with someone about things that were needing attention, but no one was in the office when we left. It seemed that the property was being worked on, and I was wondering if ours was one that was still awaiting upgrades. Toilet paper holder hanging from the wall, dead light bulb, couldn't get tv to work and no phone to call the office, bathroom door doesn't shut and floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned. However, we received a friendly greeting as we arrived. Just wish I could have asked some questions to see if this was the finished product, or if they were aware of all of the problems the room had.
