Booked this as a stopover on the way back to UK from Italy and boy did we fall lucky. We stayed in a lodge in the grounds and it was comfortable, clean and larger than we expected. However the highlight of our trip was the main building where there is a lovely bar with great staff and the outstanding restaurant. The 3 course meal with excellent wine was a great way to finish our trip around Europe before heading to the ferry. Be sure to book because the restaurant is also popular with the locals.

Hotel de très bon niveau dans un cadre calme et verdoyant. Les chambres sont dans des petits chalets attenants, confortables et plutot spacieuses. C'est un peu vieillissant mais très correct. Seule la douche est un peu misérable, petite, robinetterie et pomme de douche douteuse, température de l'eau aléatoire, mais la salle de bains est grande avec un équipement correct. La literie est excellente. Petit déjeuner très bien, dans un cadre plutot haut de gamme Exceptionnel non, mais très supérieur à ce que l'on trouve dans les chaines d',hotel habituelles.
