We got off to a rough start with tv that does not work as well as a water leakage but it turned out well in the end. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned regularly and fresh towels provide. Room on the other is not what it looks like in the picture. It could do with a makeover. Area around hotel is noisy in the early hours of the morning.

I stayed in the double room (Standard Cift Kisilik Oda). Overall, it was a wonderful stay. What I liked: -Great location! Very close to the main attractions, Istiklal Avenue, Taksim Square and Metro station. -40 inch TV with Netflix and YouTube -decent internet connection -small kitchen -staff and cleaning What I didn't like: -On some days in the middle of May the heating was turned on. To me it just didn't feel right in such a warm climate. I had to ask them to turn it down. -It wasn't a problem but having more kitchen utensils wouldn't hurt.

Was a nice clean room and bathroom, check in took a little longer than I thought as they couldn’t find our reservation code, even after showing them email confirmation. But good location, few minutes walk to city centre, staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again

Cute Turkish apartment
room was nice and spacious. they keep the apartment warm so it is cozy. Bathroom had a leak but it was fixed the next day. Very nice time. The area the hotel is located in is rather run down but they are fixing up the areas so it will be nicer. In a very good location but if you are walking you need to be in fairly good physical condition as the hills are steep.

WE had a lovely stay at this hotel and really recommend it! It was close to metro/Taksim/Galata towers and very easy to get around. We had a great balcony and fantastic view.The hotel was so nice and provided all things we needed even cooking supplies so we could make a meal in one night. We really enjoyed our stay and the helpful friendly staff.

Pros: 10m walk to Taksim Sq, awesome room, very spacious, comfy beds, friendly staff. Cons: can hear people chatting all night on the street, the neighborhood is pretty sketchy. Need to walk past/thru a few dark alleys to reach. Had no difficulty while I stayed there though.

Good Location... get what you pay for
Hotel is located very close to Taksim. Which is a little rough around the edges in the first place but very close to bars shops and cafes. The hotel itself is split between 2 locations of the office and another building. Staff in the hotel were very helpful and genuinely nice people. The room was ok, although cleaners had been smoking in there when they were cleaning with cigarette ends in the toilet, also the shower was more a trickle and took some convincing to work properly. Beds were very firm also, air con in the rooms was a plus. Would I stay there again? Yes

Nice Room in Tarlabasi!
Me and my girlfriend stayed in the hotel for 2 nights, and it was on all aspects a very pleasing stay. The hotel is not one hotel, but the rooms are suites scattered around the office (e.g. in a side street). The suite was very new, and the comfort-level was equivalent to a good 3-star/normal 4-star hotel in Europe. On short notice, we could arrange for a late check-out and we also could leave our luggage in their office.

Central, easily accessible location
The location is central and close to all means of transportation (buses, metro, airport shuttle..etc). It is more of a room rental rather than a formal hotel service. The rooms are clean but not very well furnished or maintained. The neighbourhood is a little tacky at night.

Nice hotel located right next to Taxim which is one of the most happening places in Istanbul. The hotel is good & value for money. Nothing fancy but none of the essentials were left out.. Really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely visit again if i was making a budget trip..

Suitable for extended stay
This is an apartment home rather than a hotel with comfortable bed, updated bathroom, and a kitchenette. But breakfast is not provided even though we paid more for this place than another boutique hotel in the Istanbul Old City. We arrived for check-in around 9 pm, but had to wait for at least 20 minutes in the office because the room needed "extra cleaning". We later found out some water leaking problem in the shower stall. Since we only stayed for one night so we did not bother with it. This apartment home was next to the main bus terminal and the airport transfer bus, so the transportation was easy. The Taxim neighborhood is a lively shopping district so you can enjoy some last-minute shopping there if you are leaving Istanbul the next day. Overall, I would not recommend it if you are only staying in Istanbul for sightseeing purpose since you could probably find other cheaper better hotels.

very good location
it's an apartment being rented by real state company, good design and very very close to Taksim square and istiklal road. was very good for only sleeping 7 hours, the Real state office guys are very helpful and nice, they speak good english (which is not easy to find) and very welcoming. the apartment (as most of the buildings in this area) is noisy and you can hear music from outside and people talking on the street. if you are looking for a place to keep your luggage and go there only to sleep (with no other expectations) then this place is fine.

Great value for money
This is very highly recommended to people looking for a nice place in the heart of a real Turkish neighborhood, as opposed to the touristy part of town (which in any case is just across the road and less than one minute walk). I very much preferred the exotic realness of this popular area to the less exciting and fake atmosphere of a hotel. The little apartment is clean and well kept and the staff very helpful. A cheap shop open 24 hours a day just around the corner is a huge plus. I had a great time. Great value for money

It's good and clean , staff were gentel and supportive , BUT one bad thing which is no elevator ,if u have heavy bags height floors will be tough for your family with kids although the staff will help , anyways It's good if 1st or 2nd floor
