Easy enough to find, a number X4 bus from the airport into Valletta then a 5 minute walk. 1.5 Euros for the bus
Owner and staff very friendly and couldn't be more helpful.
Full english breakfast a welcome bonus to start the day off.
Lovely settings for breakfast, like a step back in time, very ornate with a personal touch, you feel like you're sitting in a National Trust property.
Air Con in the room worked very well.
Everything was clean and the room made every day.
Kettle, coffee, tea available in the room.
Location perfect to explore Valletta on foot, plenty of bars and restaurants within a few meters.
Launderette a few doors up from the Palazzo Suites.
Buses are great at 1.5 Euros for a two hour trip anywhere. We took the No41 bus to the Gozo ferry, took a little while making 71 stops to get there but much cheaper than the alternatives. The ferry to Gozo was 4.5 Euros return.

From the initial welcome to leaving at the end this felt more like visiting someone’s home as a valued friend than staying at a hotel.
The suite was very comfortable and spacious, with everything I needed. There’s an ante room with a table and space to sit. Then the main room which has a Queen Bed and also a sitting area with TV etc. The bathroom is lovely, very large with a free standing bath and walk in shower. There’s access to a small balcony with seating for two through some french windows.
I enjoyed the ability to sit on an internal balcony overlooking the courtyard having a drink after a busy day walking around and there’s also a rooftop communal terrace, looking down towards the Grand Harbour.
Location was perfect - right on St Pauls Street, everything is only a short walk away. The area felt clean and safe at any time and there were plenty of restaurants and cafes within a very short walk.

The owner and proprietor Frank ensured that we enjoyed a uniquely superior stay. He is concerned with every detail and could not have been more friendly and accommodating. He’s also a sophisticated and warm person. The property itself is considered a Heritage House and is spacious, impeccably clean, well appointed and centrally located. The staff was wonderful. One of the best places my wife and I have ever stayed in.

Historic 1600’s Palazzo decorated with beautiful antiques and artwork which is an experience in itself. A delightful breakfast experience is prepared by an experienced chef. Wonderful location in the heart of beautiful Valetta.

Love love loved this place 😍
The location was amazing. Walkable to everywhere - sites, restaurants, sea. There is only 6 suites at Palazzo. The building is a 1622 beautiful building with modern bathrooms and amenities. Our suite (garden view) was so comfy and roomy. Frank and his staff were just sensational. Nothing was an issue for them and happy to assist with recommendations, booking taxis, local history and having a chat at breakfast. Although it may not be everybodies cup of tea (if you like ultra modern hotels) but I can not recommend this place highly enough. Everything was beautifully maintained and had everything you could possibly need. Breakfast was more impressive than most ultra modern hotels that only offer buffets.

If you are visiting Valletta or Malta in general, I would highly recommend this property, Location is fantastic, the property is great and Frank the owner understand what is important to make guests feel welcome and well looked after. Breakfast sets you up well to explore the city and the island. Make sure you understand the parking rules in Valletta if you are using a hire car, but this is easy to manage and Frank will assist.

Valletta is small so the location doesn’t matter as it’s walkable everywhere. I liked that the hotel was not on a busy street so it was quiet at night. The hotel owner is great! Frank was so attentive to us and provided excellent customer service. I noticed he was speaking in French and Italian fluently with other guests. The breakfast was very good. Our room was on the first (ground) floor, so it was a bit dump and didn’t get much natural light. The room also didn’t have hangers for towels. Otherwise it was spacious and clean and the air conditioning was working great. If you get a room on a different floor, it would be perfect. We also enjoyed the rooftop patio.

I liked the fact that there are only 6 rooms, no mass tourism, family atmosphere and perfectly situated at a walking distance to shops/busses/restaurants in Valletta. I had the best breakfast ever! Thank you Frank and staff!

Herskapelig og sentralt
Utrolig fint lite hotell midt i Valletta. Opprinnelig et herskapelig hus som har vært i hotelleier Frank sin familie i flere generasjoner. Alle rom er unike, frokostrommet og fellesstuen er fantastisk med med kunst, malerier, porselen og massevis av små og store kuriositeter. Veldig fin og deilig takterrasse med utsikt mot de tre byene og dertilhørende fort. Kort vei til alt i Valletta, inkludert båten til Birgu og bussholdeplassen med busser som tar deg rundt hele øya. Drar gjerne tilbake.

Charming spot in Valletta
We had a very nice time at Palazzo Valletta Suites. Frank was great! Helpful with reservations and ideas as well as friendly conversation.
Breakfast was fresh, delicious and satisfying.
The location was ideal. Valletta is a small city and a car is more of an encumbrance than of any use. The old city is easily walkable.
The building itself is several hundred years old and as such it’s nothing less than miraculous that modern conveniences like plumbing, kitchen and an elevator can be installed without ruining its essential character.
We would both recommend Palazzo Valletta Suites and consider staying there again if we get back to Malta.

Terrific location within Valletta, close to the city center around St John's co-Cathedral. The palazzo also provides a beautifully decorated, old world feel which greatly enhances a stay in Malta. Amenities, including an excellent daily breakfast and a welcoming bottle of wine also help ensure an enjoyable vacation. And Frank, the genial host and manager, is also readily available with tips and offers of assistance to make sure you get the most out of your time in Malta.

Very friendly, welcome from the owner and staff in this beautiful traditional 16th century home redeveloped into boutique suites. It is in a superb location just minutes walk from all the central attractions and the public transport system
We stayed in the penthouse suite that has a large roof terrace with fantastic views of the grand Harbour and 3 cities. The owner Frank was a delightful host and made our stay unique with recommendations to make the most of our 4 days in Valetta.
