Booking confirmed with Expedia for 5/24 - 5/27. On 5/26, the front desk reported an issue with the credit card on file. I became aware of this around 2:30pm 5/26 and immediately resolved the issue. Front desk made father pack his belongs and exit the room. In turn, I was told to pack and exit and they said our checkout was 5/26. Offering no other room option. Traveling from the United States, staying in Scotland, this property could not have cared less. Highly recommend against staying at this hotel.

I loved the quaintness of it. Didn’t think that staying at a small golf club would be so nice. My room big on the second floor with a wonderful view of the golf course. The staff was wonderful. Nothing fancy at the reception area but it’s not needed. I would stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were very friendly and I would particularly mention the receptionist at both check-in and check-out for her care and attentiveness. Room was very comfortable, well equipped, and a lovey view over the golf course. The hotel itself is a short drive from St Andrews and a good base for exploring the area. Would really recommend this hotel rather than overpriced hotels in St Andrews itself.

Excellent break.

Excellent break at Drumoig. Lovely location for staying in fife St Andrews and Dundee both close by Bus stop at entrance to Drumoig if you want to leave car there is eccellent bus service here. Rooms comfotable and good size Food and drink very good in hotel. Good value for money as well. Lovely golf course and a lovely walk if not into golf.

Nice hotel but need updating

The hotel is a little bit dated, very clean and the staff were excellent. Breakfast was a bit disorganised and slightly late which is fine if you are there on a break but I was on business and needed to get going. Not a massive fan of hot breakfast buffets.

No hot water for the shower Scalding in the Bath Mentioned it to housekeeping Yes we now it’s very temperamental Have to run the sink tap first Then shower usually works Oh really Extractor fan in bathroom requires deep clean Toilet brush holder is rusty requires to be replaced Under side of toilet rim requires cleaning I opened all of the windows all thick with dust and debris and flaking paint Obvious shortage of staff in most departments I would strongly recommend that the black cable that is extended about waist level across the footpath charging a vehicle near to the entrance / exit door of the hotel is either coned off or highlighted in some manner before someone trips / falls over said cable and is injured Will not be in a rush to stay again or recommend to anyone Regards Maurice
