Absolutely stunning Unit!!! There are quite a bit of stairs. The staff were there to assist with carrying luggage to and from the Villa. Staff were helpful and friendly. Communication was constant between reception throughout our stay. Villa was clean and beautifully decorated. The only issue is the dishwasher is placed on top of the washing machine. I am short so i needed help from hubby to fill up. Other than this. The kitchen was well equipped and well designed. The View was absolutely amazing from the balcony. Lake, River and Pool View. Bedrooms and Bathrooms were clean and elegant. A stronger hairdryer would've been helpful. Fragrances all round were stunning!!! We tried out the restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious!! Staff were friendly and accommodating. We would definitely recommend to families and couples! We also recommend updating the information on Hotels.com. We were under the impression there was no reception at the property.

Amazing stay - the villa was huge, well-equipped, and clean. A separate bedroom balcony & large patio area looked upon a lake and the mountains of Franschhoek - beautiful! We didn't use the pool, but it looked great from a distance. In-suite laundry was a game changer, and though we didn't use it, the full kitchen could be useful. I'd say here again in a heartbeat.

The villa was amazing - awesome views from the patio. It had everything you needed for that stay away from home. It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Franshhoek town centre along a well marked path but Ubers were also plentiful. Esme and the Team really make you feel welcome - I'd definitely stay again.

Out of this world quality. With a sincere, warmer than warm welcome, we were shown into our one bedroom villa. Sounds pokey?? Don’t you believe it. Kitchen, two lounge areas, wood burning fire, study, balcony, main bathroom and guest WC. A total of 26 chairs between the two of us. Everything really high quality. The housekeeping team were first class. They even went to the trouble of emptying the washing machine and hanging out/folding our clean clothes. Franschhoek itself is a haven of peaceful bliss. Both the town and L’Hermitage Villages highly recommended. With just one point to make. The property has a hotel area and beyond that, starts the villas. The security guard directed us to “reception” where it became apparent we were not where we needed to be. We needed to in the Villa section (though there is no separate Villa reception). The hotel must get this all the time but the member of staff you dealt with us was as cold as a fish. Poor first impression!!! Esme, the manager of the Villas on the other hand is superb. Excellent communication via WhatsApp and nothing too much trouble. Thank you Esme and Villa team.

Amazingly beautiful villa

This was the best villa I have ever stayed in. The personal welcome we received was lovely and the villa itself was outstanding. It was spacious, but cozy, with an amazing view. On our 3 week South Africa trip, this was the best place we stayed in. Wifi was excellent. We could get local Italian food delivered to the door. The villa was very central and quiet. And we had our own dedicated parking space. In short, book this villa...you will not be disappointed!

Zeer fraai resort bij Franschhoek. Luxueus ingerichte appartementen / villa’s met mooie faciliteiten ter plaatse. De was-droogcombinatie was erg handig om wat wasachterstand weg te werken van 2,5 week vakantie. Ook keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien. Het personeel was super attent, behulpzaam en reageerde erg snel. Omdat het in de dagen ervoor had geregend, was het kraanwater bruinkleurig. Ze hebben ons daarom ruim voldoende voorzien van mineraalwater uit flessen. Ook de complementaire zwemhanddoeken en fles wijn worden erg gewaardeerd. W-Collection is overigens niet de eigenaar van L’Ermitage, maar bezit een deel van het resort. Dat was voor ons vooraf niet duidelijk, maar maakte verder geen verschil voor ons verblijf. Als we Franschhoek in de toekomst weer aandoen, verblijven we hier zeker weer.

Tuve una estancia maravillosa en W Collection Franschhoek. Desde mi llegada me hicieron sentir muy bienvenida y todo el equipo fue amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. La propiedad es preciosa, con un ambiente tranquilo, elegante y perfectamente integrado con el paisaje. Cada espacio está cuidadosamente diseñado y transmite una sensación de calma que hizo mi estancia muy especial. La habitación era impecable, muy cómoda y con vistas espectaculares. También disfruté muchísimo la atención personalizada; en todo momento sentí una hospitalidad genuina más que un servicio simplemente correcto. Fue el lugar perfecto para descansar y explorar los viñedos de Franschhoek. Sin duda volvería y lo recomendaría a cualquiera que busque una experiencia íntima, relajante y de gran calidad.
